What started as a passion for lighting more than 20 years ago has grown into something so much more. ✨

For Mitch Conklin, owner of LUCE Lighting & Design, it began with lighting consultation, design and fixture sales—helping clients find the pieces that could completely transform a space.

Then, about 10 years ago, LUCE Lighting & Luxuries was born on West Vliet Street in Milwaukee.

The vision? Create a space where clients could experience beautiful lighting in person—seeing the fixtures, finishes and details that make great design feel different.

And because a beautiful home is about more than lighting, Mitch paired that passion with his love for unique gifts and home pieces.

So whether you walk through our doors looking for the perfect light fixture or simply something beautiful to bring home, there’s always something waiting to be discovered at LUCE Lighting & Luxuries.

21 years of LUCE. A decade of our retail store. And still inspired by making spaces more beautiful. ✨

Every room tells its own story — but the lighting is what brings the entire home together. ✨

Inside 631 College, featured on Betting on Beloit, LUCE Lighting + Luxuries helped create a lighting plan that feels intentional from room to room. From the warm pendants anchoring the kitchen island to the elegant sconces framing the bathroom mirrors and the statement chandelier completing the dining room, every fixture was selected to complement the character of the home.

It’s proof that great lighting doesn’t simply illuminate a space — it becomes part of the design.

Another beautiful transformation we were proud to be part of on Betting on Beloit. 🤍

Ready to make lighting one of the best features in your home? Visit LUCE Lighting + Luxuries and let our team help you find the pieces that bring your space to life.

Another home, another lighting design challenge—and this one was a fun one.

I’m @mpconklin, owner of LUCE Lighting + Luxuries, and I’ve had the opportunity to design the lighting for the homes featured on @bettingonbeloit .

This week, we’re taking you inside 631 College. From the outside, this home feels grand, but inside, we had to be intentional with every space—using lighting to make each room feel comfortable, elevated and larger than its footprint.

A few spaces you’ll definitely want to watch for: the dining room and a little powder room on the main floor that packs a lot of personality.

Tune in to Betting on Beloit on A&E Saturdays at 11 AM, or stream it the next day.

Lighting Tip: Layer your lighting. ✨

Combining recessed lighting with decorative sconces, picture lights, and lamps creates depth and warmth while giving each area of the room its own purpose. The best lighting designs don’t rely on one source—they make the entire space feel intentional.
