Funny enough, I’ve spent this trip surrounded by couples.

And yes, there have definitely been moments where I wished I had someone next to me to share it all with. But somehow, being alone is also getting easier and easier.

I’m learning to genuinely enjoy my own company. To go anyway. To sit at the table alone, take the long drive, get lost, change my plans and experience something beautiful without needing someone there to make it feel complete.

And the funny part is, the more comfortable I become on my own, the more open I seem to become to everyone around me. I talk to more people. I smile more. I’m more curious. I can actually feel this completely different, more positive energy coming from me.

Maybe learning to be alone was never about closing myself off. Maybe it’s actually making me more open. 🤍

A little week in my life 🤎

Took my first proper break from the gym this year because my body was very clearly asking for it 😅 Started feeling a little sick too, but I think we’re pulling through so hopefully back at it Monday.

Still got outside, walked, ran, moved… and obviously couldn’t skip a little girls’ night in Amsterdam 🥂

Today = reset day. Rest, groceries, getting my shit together and prepping for another week.

Sometimes staying consistent also means knowing when to slow down.

Overall: feeling good. Ready for a new week 🤎

September already… and looking back, this is literally how my summer felt 😂

One minute gym, long walks, nature and pretending I’m a calm person.

The next: techno, festivals and running behind my sleeping schedule !

Two very different personalities and apparently I needed both.

I’m definitely coming out of summer slightly exhausted, but damn… it was good. I had FUN.

And I think what made me enjoy the chaos so much was knowing that underneath it, I never really lost my “base”. I trained. I walked. I kept some sort of rhythm. Not perfectly, but consistently enough.

Turns out you can be pretty flexible with everything on top when the foundation underneath stays solid.

Anyway. Personality number one is requesting a quieter September now. 😂 🍂 ☕️ 🐻

The softer season is coming 🍂

Life lately has been full. Like, really full. A wild summer, lots of people, places, plans and so many good things.

But lately I’ve felt tired. Maybe it’s the weather changing, maybe my body is just telling me to chill the fuck out for a minute 😅

So I’m slowly listening. Taking a week off the gym, slowing things down a little and learning that not everything needs to be held onto, fixed or figured out.
Letting go mentally is also part of the process.
Some things can just… go.

And that feels really good.

Autumn has always been my favourite season. I think I’m ready for the quieter version of life that comes with it. 🍂🤎

I don’t train because I’m motivated every day. Trust me, I’m not 😂

I’m not motivated every day. Not even close.

Sometimes I’m tired. Sometimes I really can’t be bothered. Sometimes my head is a mess and life feels like a lot.

But I move.

Gym, running, walking, whatever. It’s probably the one thing I’ve kept coming back to no matter what else was going on in my life.

Not because I’m disciplined 24/7 or because I’m chasing some perfect body.

I just know I feel better when I move.

So yeah. Life can be a complete shitshow.

I’ll still move my body.

That one is non-negotiable.
