Finally getting to post a little bit of our Boston roadtrip:

Went to my first NFL game and watching the Patriots at Gillette stadium 🏈, ate my weight in lots of lobsta 🦞, strolls through Harvard yard & checking out cool architecture, being a tourist and exploring Boston via duck boat 🦆 , lots of walking through Boston gardens & the Boston public library, plus our first time on the Green Monster and catching a Red Sox game ⚾️

As everyone knows, I’m always late to everything 😂

Happy (belated) birthday to the sweetest, most lovable guy I know. So thankful you were born 36 years ago and you graced us with your presence 😘. I don’t know what I would do without you and your kind heart, endless fountain of knowledge, patience and optimism + somehow always exceeding my own extrovert levels. I love how you are just home to me, thank you for making life so much fun and bright. To know you, is to love you (and so many of your friends and family love you).

A big congratulations to my little brother, Landon, on officially graduating from my alma mater, @uofsc. It was a proud yet bittersweet day for our household as the youngest member of our family finally walked the stage. Despite all of the age gaps between us and Landon, he has — and probably always will be — our baby.

Growing up, it was so much fun taking care of our built-in baby doll — teaching him things like how to read, play music, ride a bike, and watch all the classic Disney movies. We loved taking him everywhere with us, and having our friends and family watch him grow up has been such a special experience. He has always been the good, quiet, thoughtful kid with a great aptitude for learning and playing music — although we still tease him for his lack of drawing and painting skills compared to the rest of his siblings. Seeing him reach so many important milestones and graduate with his college degree (first generation too!) has been such a huge blessing.

I think big moments like this always hit home a little harder. One of my dad’s biggest wishes before he left us was to see Landon graduate, and although he couldn’t witness it himself, I know how proud he is of him. We all are. And when my brother walked across that stage, he carried a little piece of my dad with him through a special piece of jewelry that held some of my dad’s ashes.

So this weekend, we celebrated moments that were big and beautiful while also carrying moments of grief that reminded us just how short life is and how important it is to chase those dreams. We’re so proud of you for achieving one of your dreams, Landon ❤️ love you big. taken in University Of South Carolina Horseshoe by @luckilylynn
