One of the most amazing evenings of my life. £125K raised, documentary screened, distribution partners sorted @ark_movie_productions. Full circle. Job done. Mission complete.

Don’t mean to blow my own trumpet, but in fairness - I’m not actually even featured in this!

I’ll let the people I work with do the talking on this occasion 🌟

Filmed by my fantastic co-founder of @the.visibilityedit , @oliverkingsleymedia , at the premiere of The Roof of Africa: Bullied, The Mountain We Face, the documentary I produced following the Kilimanjaro climb that has now raised £125,000 for bullying prevention charity @coramkidscape.

Whilst I was busy running around making the whole thing happen, Kat, Ash, @drmarcthevet , @ark_movie_productions , @samuraibrighton , @rosscarvil , @dalereubin our mountain videographer and my dearest, most beautiful @andrew_barton_hair were sharing their experiences of working with me.

And honestly? It feels pretty bloody good to hear this and then share this with you.

Because when you spend your time building projects, bringing people together, opening doors, creating opportunities and making big, beautiful, purpose-led things happen, you don’t always stop to take in what it means to the people around you.

So here’s a little reminder that the work speaks for itself. And sometimes, it’s lovely to let other people tell that story. ❤️

How do you build trust with your customers?

Do good. Be memorable. Be human. And have the courage to ask people to be part of something bigger than themselves.

Working in purpose-led business and social impact has taught me that trust isn’t built through what you SAY you stand for. It’s built through what you DO.

✨ Remember people’s names.
✨ Show up with authenticity.
✨ Never underestimate the power of a small, thoughtful gift.
✨ Be bold enough to ask people to join your mission.
✨ Make people feel something. Give them something to remember you by.

Because people might forget what you said, but they’ll remember how you made them feel.

And when your work has purpose at its heart, trust becomes about more than a transaction. It becomes about shared values, belief and the impact you can create together.

Behind the scenes… one week ago today, I was in full event mode at @cinemainthepowerstation with the incredible @brightcausepr team, getting ready to bring this whole project to life.

Today, I’m smiling, watching this back and remembering just how much went into that day.

From the chaos behind the scenes, @rosscarvil - you know! To stepping onto that stage and seeing the room come alive… it was one of those moments where you stop and think: we actually did this ✨

A project that started with an idea, a mountain and a determination to do something about bullying has now raised more than £125,000 for bullying prevention @coramkidscape and touched so many hearts along the way.

I’m incredibly proud to have been part of it.

A huge thank you to @kerloraofficial for keeping me comfortable in the pre-premiere chaos and kitting me out in sportswear before the dress went on!

And to @oliverkingsleymedia for capturing it all and delivering some of the best event films in the world. You make moments feel as good on screen as they did in the room.

And, of course, to the brilliant Bright Cause team and everyone who made this project what it became.

One week on, and I’m still feeling very, very proud. ❤️

Some projects are bigger than any one person.

This was definitely one of them.
