Three years ago, I stepped away.
Not to disappear—but to be rebuilt.
Today, I return… not the same, not searching—
but sent.
The water changed me. The Word sustained me.
And now my voice has a purpose:
to share the Good News that saved my life.

To speak truth. To give hope. To glorify God.

On this walk I cannot believe i witnessed eagles calling loudly. It reminded me of “those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles”-Isaiah 40:31. Don’t let someone isolate one verse and use it to convince you that God requires you to endure abuse.
Study the Word. Know the context. Know God’s character.
Marriage is a covenant—but covenant comes with love, honor, responsibility, and care.
A title does not make someone’s interpretation the voice of God.

There are many factors that influence a person’s ability to leave an unhealthy relationship. While culture, religion and family play a key role, there are also underlying emotional and psychological components that can make it much more challenging to leave a relationship. Prayer is important, but so is discernment. Don’t only ask God for what you want. Spend time getting to know who He is, what He says and what His love looks like. When you know God’s character, you become better able to recognize what comes from Him—and what does not.
