Whose life is better now the lives of British trans and other gender non conforming peoples’ lives have been legislated to be worse than they were yesterday? Who, and specifically which women, are served by legal enforcement of gender binaries? I can only imagine that jk Rowling and the other feminism-appropriating radical transphobes are inspired by their own very deep traumas. Trauma that is surely fuelled by the same binary dogmas that inspire this legislation. I’ve been silent on these platforms the past years while learning how to walk and dance again in our more than human world. The first thing I learned is that (bio)diversity is the fundamental key to life. We are all in this together. Can we find effective ways to heal and transform the violence we are all in degrees informed by and embolden radical care, empathy and solidarity ?
Everything is a spectrum not a binary.
