From a distance…. Peleş Castle really is stunning!!! A short walk from the cafe and gift shop is picturesque perfection!

It was closed inside for us so we couldn’t go in, check which days it’s open before you go!

In the gardens….even more treasures can be seen

Will YOU escape?!

One of the most mysterious places in Bucharest… and we obviously had to investigate 👀🕯️

Tucked away on Lipscani, Bucharest, Rose’s Mystery House feels like stepping straight into the pages of a gothic storybook. Think Victorian interiors, secret stories, immersive escape rooms, unexpected characters and a seriously atmospheric greenhouse café… ✨🌹

And then there were the themed cocktails 🍸 — theatrical, beautifully presented AND genuinely delicious. Because apparently solving mysteries is better when you have a cocktail in your hand… 😂

We went to explore Rose’s world and I’m still not entirely convinced we made it out without becoming part of the story 👀

If you’re looking for something a little different from the usual Bucharest sightseeing, add this one to your list especially if you love escape rooms, immersive experiences, history, mystery, cocktails or somewhere ridiculously photogenic.

🇷🇴✨ SAVE THIS FOR YOUR BUCHAREST TRIP ✨

If you’re heading to Bucharest, here’s my little hit list of things I’d absolutely add to your itinerary 👇🏼

🏛️ Take a guided walking tour this is always the best way to get your bearings, see the city’s history and discover all the little details you’d probably walk straight past.

🥂 Prosecco + traditional dancing at @carucubere Caru’ cu Bere … because sightseeing is always better with bubbles… and a little Romanian folklore! 💃🏼

📚 Visit Cărturești Carusel — one of the most beautiful bookstores I’ve ever seen. An absolute must for the photos! @librariile_carturesti

🔐 Try Roses Mystery House escape room — perfect if you fancy something a little different from the usual sightseeing. @rosesmysteryhouse

🧖🏼‍♀️ Spend some time at @therme_bucuresti — technically just outside the city, but 100% worth making time for. Think pools, saunas, palm trees and serious relaxation. 🌴 full reel to come for this!!

🏰 Take a day trip to Dracula’s Castle — @brancastleromania and make a full day of it by visiting Brașov and Peleș Castle along the way. The scenery is STUNNING and it feels like stepping into a fairytale. 🧛🏼‍♀️✨

A few Bucharest trip tips:
✨ Wear comfy shoes — you’ll walk A LOT
✨ Book your day trip in advance
✨ Leave time for cafés, cocktails & wandering with no agenda
✨ Try traditional Romanian food — don’t just stick to the tourist spots
✨ And leave some room in your suitcase… you’ll definitely want to bring something home 🤭
