270 days to get better...

That's how much time we had between the final whistle of the 2025 season and the first day of full pads this year.

The offseason isn't time "off." It's an opportunity to learn, compete, and improve.

Whatever you want in life, the price is the price. It takes what it takes. Clock in, put in the work, and let everything else take care of itself.

This offseason I was blessed with many opportunities to learn from some incredible coaches, teammates, and competitors:

🏈 Sunday morning Receiver Skills work with Coach Terrence Edwards
🏈 FBU GMSAA Tryouts
🏈 ATL Red Devils 7v7 Tryouts
🏈 FBU Futures Showcase (Naples, FL)
🏈 Georgia Elite Classic (Rome, GA)
🏈 Friday Night Red Devils skill sessions
🏈 TE/Blocking development with Game Time Performance
🏈 Red Devils team workouts and practices
🏈 7-on-7 tournament season across Georgia
🏈 Bubble work with Coach Terrence Edwards & Route One
🏈 UA Next Middle School Camp
🏈 Speed & strength training at Elevate Performance Sports
🏈 Walton Middle School strength program with the varsity coaches
🏈 FSP speed & strength training
🏈 FBU Atlanta Regional Camp
🏈 NXGN Elite Regional Showcase
🏈 First Down Training QB/WR Camp
🏈 Walton Spring Football & Jamboree
🏈 Georgia All-State Game
🏈 YAA Atlanta Junior 150
🏈 Walton OTAs & Summer 7-on-7
🏈 FBU Top Gun (Naples, FL)
🏈 LB/DL Skills Training with Trench Mob
🏈 LBU (Bermuda Run, NC)
🏈 AAE All-American Showcase

Every coach, every teammate, every rep, every lesson... good or bad, helped shape this off season. Huge THANK YOU to everyone who poured into my development. Long way to go, but I feel like we made the most of the time in between seasons!

Now let's get to work on the 2026 season!

Had a great time at the 3-day All-American @aaecamp! We started with a fun Media Day, then had a classroom session on the path to college, then we did 10+ hours of drills, combines and competition with players from all over the country.

Honored to be recognized as a Day 1 Top Performer, to receive all-camp honors with the middle school receiver group, and to receive an invite to the All-American @aaebowl!

Thank you @coachlo4life @topshelf_tj and team for the opportunity and a great experience! taken in Atlanta, GA by @lukegstuck

Some things I wrote down from this morning's classroom session at @aaecamp :

"Goals not written down are just wishes" - @coachlo4life

If you're lucky enough to find yourself offered an NIL situation, watch out for the word "perpetuity." - @trackbaby001

If you're talking to the media, give them more than just basic yes or no answers. Show personality. - @_dawnmontgomery

Make sure you understand who "the full you" is. (for example, I'm an athlete, brother, student, Christian, entrepreneur...) - @coachsharaye

It was also cool to see @georgiatechfb OC call Coach Lo and say hi to all of us this morning! taken in Hyatt Regency Atlanta by @lukegstuck

Had a great weekend at LBU ( @linebackercamps )! Spent 3 days going deep on #linebacker skills and fundamentals. 12 hours of college-level skill instruction combined with 6 hours of classroom film review. Great opportunity to focus on development work and getting better on the defensive side of the ball! taken in Winston-Salem, North Carolina by @lukegstuck
