Luke Patrick

Luke Patrick is an Australian actor, artist and creative mentor whose journey has taken him from South Australia to international television and film. Best known for his long-running role as Frank Warner on New Zealand’s ‘Shortland Street’, Luke has also starred as Lucas Wright in the international feature film ‘Numbered Lives’, alongside Jeremy Piven. His career continues to span Australian, New Zealand and international screen industries, driven by a lifelong passion for storytelling and the art of human connection. Extensively trained in some of the world’s most respected acting disciplines, Luke’s studies include the Meisner Technique, Stella Adler, Howard Fine, the Chubbuck Technique and Practical Aesthetics. His training, professional experience and continued exploration of the craft have shaped a philosophy grounded in truth, presence, imagination, emotional intelligence and authentic human behaviour.

Alongside his own professional career, Luke has spent years working with and mentoring actors across Australia and New Zealand, helping artists develop their craft, confidence, creativity and authentic voice. He believes there is a profound difference between learning how to perform and learning how to truly live as an artist.

My Queen has never seen me physically, in person, clean shaved the 5 years that we’ve been together. I’ve been told throughout our relationship to never do it. This her reaction 😂 pure gold

My journal has seen every version of me,
the ego, the child, the warrior, the afraid man - and it never flinched. It supported and nurtured, while being brutally honest.

It’s a road map into my internal being that I did not have before it’s time of connection with my soul. It revealed my loving mirror. It reveals everything. And that, I’m forever grateful. by @lukempatrick

There’s something deeply poetic, philosophical, about the relationship between a soul, a machine, and the open road — it’s freedom, death and aliveness at the same time. It’s a spiritual journey, an experience, an awakening that transcends any real intellectual understanding as it can only be felt. It’s solitude, rebellion, transcendence.

You become everything all at once. The road, the bike, the trees, the wind, the mountains, with yourself.

You become one with everything without any limitations. Without identity as it disappears into nothingness as you transcend through time and space.

You become one with the creator, the pure essence of that intelligence as you are that intelligence. Having a transcendental experience.

All of your worries, your fears, your pain, all of it, disappears into nothingness, where in that moment of nothingness, you are free. Free of it all. Completely present in the moment. Where you become face to face with death, with aliveness, with peace and harmony all at once. Where in that moment, you get the meaning of life, as you completely become it.

I thought I’d write this poem to express my devoted love, honour, and gratitude for you.

“ She’s has a vintage heart, a soul as old as the stars, seeing through the eyes of a forest fairy, with a spirit of majestic dolphin. Wild as an untamed Marwari horse. Bonded with a beautiful mind “

29 years around the sun and moon, and what a journey it’s been.

Tremendous downs and fabulous ups. Plenty more that will turn our cups.

But the only cup I want to drink with, is yours.

A future wife and Mother to be,
as your 3 favourites are here so willingly,
as you are our northern light, our guiding star indeed.
