all of the music we’ve been working on for the past 2 years (!) & playing live w our angel bandmates now exists in one beautiful janky package under the title 🎵 Prescribe the Symptom 🎵

you can listen to it on streaming or even buy a cassette on bandcamp (we have a few shirts printed by @circusofcrafts left too!) if yr tryna put ur money where yr ears are :P but mostly we just want ppl to put it on while they’re making dinner or driving to work or walking their dog down the street. if ur a nerd (like me) and want to read about the thoughts & feelings goin thru our heads while composing all this, that’s on bandcamp too

infinite gratitude to @iwant_fcs for transforming chores into a gloriously hazy fist-bumper of a remix and to @jylean for endless hours listening to us work and rework on the same song at tha home stu and to @finger____prints for riso-printing the cassette insert 💗🧡

Mixed & mastered with love sweat & tears in tujunga, ca @ Evil Music Studios 💌😈🌻

Kylie O: drums, vocals, lyrics, laugh track, cover art
Jordan K: drums, vocals, lyrics, guitar, bass, piano, keyboard, melodica, logic wizardry

ty to all who rocked & moshed and shook a$$ at muddy heaven under the full blue moon last saturday 💓🌝💓

extra special ty to emma of @nocanyonhills for sharing about their fight to protect a swathe of mountain ecosystem 25 minutes NW of this backyard. all entry fees from the show went to their legal fund! cuz the music is personal and the personal is political, right??

last but not least, our ep 🗣️Prescribe the Symptom🗣️ will officially be birthed onto the internet this thursday 6/11 !! we hope it can be a friend to lean on or a catalyst for release kind of in the way this show felt last weekend 🎇❣️ taken in Highland Park by @lulafortune4u

@luvbeefy made the sickest flyer ever for our show next saturday 5/30 🏠🎶 a bassist of manyyyy talents

important notes:

🌀the show is a fundraiser for @nocanyonhills - after a few expenses (renting a mixer, paying our sound person) 🤑the sliding scale door charge of $10-20🤑will go toward helping NCH fight a legal battle to prevent the verdugo mountains from becoming a luxury housing development

🌀there is a natives planting in partnership with @theodorepayne morning of 5/30 at NCH’s arts residency space @sayerstujunga / @concerninglandscape ! get ur hands in the dirt, have a chill afternoon, and then come to hlp and dance the night away under the Full Blue Moon ✨

dm for the addy / if you already know it please remember to NOT park on this narrow dead end street or else my neighbors will come for me lol

ok that is all for now! thanking god today for the various powers of music ice cream affordable therapy & worms 🤡❤️‍🔥💫💒👯‍♂️🎵 taken in Highland Park by @lulafortune4u
