Thrifted swimsuits for beach week! ☀️👙⛱️🐚

If you aren’t thrifting your swimsuits you definitely need to be! I’ll die on the hill that vintage suits are more unique and better fitting. And modern suits are way too much money for my budget, so I would much rather pay a lot less.

Here’s a couple tricks to thrift your suits:
☀️ Look out of season! You’ll appreciate the great suit you find in December when June rolls around.
☀️Don’t worry about sizes as much, especially for vintage suits- sizing is extra wonky for swimsuits
☀️ Check the elastic and the lining- those are usually the things to go first.

Vintage high neck suit: found a church bag sale for about 20 cents
Y2K suit from @redwhiteandbluethrift for $5.99
NWT Old Navy swimsuit from @goodwillswpa for $9.60

My shower is everything to me 💜 We are still dealing with our former contractor being crappy so we don’t have a tub still, but I’m so glad my shower vision has come to fruition!

Thanks to @sprooshome for the lovely gifted purple shower head and now matching shower curtain! If you want to add some color to your bathroom you can use code LULATHRIFT for some $$$ off!

9 married years with my favorite goober who is currently Instagramless, but I wanted to share anyway. 💕 This past year might have been one of the hardest: a horrible remodel process, lots of job changes, health issues, and family stuff. But, I wouldn’t be able to do any of what I do without Chandy. 💛

Dolly is proof why someone you don’t know can mean so much to you. 💕 Some guy once asked me what my walk out song would be if I played baseball. He then proceeded to scoff when I said Baby, I’m Burnin’ by Dolly Parton. That’s further proof that Dolly’s legacy is needed. Her music is strongly female and her words were strongly acceptance and love for ALL. Her actions were strongly supporting books and helping others. We will always love her. 💛 Better get to livin’ the way she would have wanted. @dollyparton
