Vacation update from Dewey Beach 🧡🐾

I’m having what I can only describe as the BEST vacation.

I’ve been to the beach, put my paws in the ocean, rolled in the sand, spent lots of time with Mom and Aunt Laura, made some new friends, and generally made sure everyone knows I have arrived. 🌊☀️

But then vacation somehow got even better…

ICE CREAM. 🍦

They handed me my very own giant scoop and apparently I was supposed to lick it. That seems wildly inefficient, so I ate the whole thing in ONE BITE. 😂

Mom was shocked. I was not. I knew exactly what I was doing.

So far I give this vacation approximately 47/10. Excellent accommodations. Excellent company. Excellent snacks. Would absolutely come back.

Love,
Polar 🧡🐾

Guess who finally made it back to one of his FAVORITE places?! 🧡🌊🐾

DEWEY BEACH!!

It’s been a while, but I remembered EXACTLY what to do. Mom and Aunt Laura took me, and I was SOOOOO happy. I rolled in the sand, splashed in the waves, and tried my very best to convince Mom that I should be allowed to go ALL the way in.

She disagreed. 🙄

Apparently because of my back, Mom is now in charge of “pacing me.” She made me take breaks and even told me I couldn’t go any farther.

So naturally, I whined about it.

There was also some talk about me being “almost 10,” but I’m not sure who she was referring to. I felt about 2. 😂

The beach may look a little different for me these days, but I still got my paws in the ocean with Mom and Aunt Laura.

And I was one VERY happy boy. 🧡🌊

Love,
Polar

Coasting into the weekend with hundreds of fellow ACE’ers (American Coaster Enthusiasts) as we celebrate the 100th anniversary of Knoebels, a fifth-generation family-owned amusement park in the woods of Eastern Pennsylvania. It’s a charming time capsule of a place with paper ride tickets, old-school rides, and affordable eats. Best of all, I get to enjoy it all with my two PA besties!

Hey Bookstagram! It’s been a hot minute since I posted. But last weekend I went to the @blackcatmedina Big Ohio Book Con and had a lovely time (and so much ice cream) so I wanted to share my memories.

🌈 I attended the Beyond the Binary: Writing Authentic LGBTQIA+ Stories panel with the lovely TJ Klune, @pagepowars @andiewritesandreads @thatames and I really appreciated their thoughtful discussion.

✨ I got to see @sarahbethdurst again and she was just as charming as the first time even if we weren’t in AC this visit.

📚 I got to check out BOTH locations of the Black Cat Bookshop and it was SUCH a vibe. But most importantly I got amazing quality time with my beautiful friends. I got to introduce @mparkerfl33 to my Pittsburgh crew and made so many new memories.

Last week, @goodwillswpa was kind enough to invite me to their After Hours Shopping Event! What a time to be had, yinz! They had fun games, prizes, delicious food, and an amazing selection of second hand goods through the ShopGoodwill.com pop up. I had an absolute blast, but there ain't go party like a Goodwill party after all!
