introducing @lune.radio ~ my bimonthly radio show on @xrayfm that showcases femme/nonbinary bass producers from around the world 💖 next episode airs tomorrow, Friday 9.18 at 5pm PST.

as someone who has been in various music scenes for nearly two decades as a fan/listener/festival worker/volunteer/dj and eventually producer myself, I started noticing how sparse festival lineups were when it comes to women many years ago ~ and how comparatively rare femme producers are.

femme and nonbinary creators don’t get the same kind of exposure to mentorship and collaboration that many of the boys do (sorry guys)- we don’t live in the same shared houses, don’t get the same “big ups, you should check out/book my boy”, the same free lessons and encouragement, etc.

with @lune.radio , I wanted to give props and credit where it’s due, and show that we are here, talented AF and deserving of the same opportunities as everyone else 💖

hope u will tune in and add some femme frequencies to your arsenal at 91.1 or 107.1FM in Portland or online worldwide at XRAY.fm ✨ taken in Portland, Oregon by @lune.radio
