Break My Fall is here. A collaboration with @nightmodeofficial . Three songs Matt and I made together over several years. A lot of life happened in between. After the birth of our daughter, which has been an incredible blessing, we lost my mom. These songs continue to speak to me. Pain is a part of life. Who we endure it with is our choice. Thankful for all those around me who continue to show support. If you’re going through it, talk to someone who can relate. Sometimes we just need someone to listen. Speaking of listening - go give it a spin. Live in it for a bit. Thank youuuuuu

“Break My Fall” the EP is out this Thursday September 10. Matt and I Started this journey back in 2019. Sometimes things need to marinade a bit. Goodness I was in a much different headspace when we started putting these together. Trippy revisiting them years later when I’m doing quite alright. Sometimes you’re up, sometimes you’re down. That’s art baby. Matt’s instrumentals and production on these is spectacular. Stoked to let em freeee. by @luthimusic

Sup. Bursts hit 1 MILLION streams the other day. Beat made by Opie (Aaron Howard) and Matthew Thiessen. We originally recorded vocals with iPhone headphones in about 20 minutes on a porch in East Nashville in 2020. Didn’t get too fragile. Straight from the heart. Let it marinade until 2023 - the day before Cait and I got married. It’s the only one off the EP that got more than 50k streams. For any other independent artists out there. Keep at it, keep making art for you…something will hit. Very seldom do songs break into this nutty algorithm. Shit even @zuck shared it on his wife’s bday and didn’t tag us properly. Whatever. Music is fun. I’ll keep making it. Hope this one speaks to you as much as it speaks to our loved ones. More to come. Got a lot in the pot marinating. Oh also, share this song. Thanks. by @luthimusic
