Tomorrow is my birthday 🎂
Ngl 33 was hard. 34 is going to be hard too. And beautiful, awe inspiring, heart filling, mind bending & worth every step—every moment. Sometimes you feel like you’re gonna slide off the edge of the earth. But eventually you realize that the earth is round & there’s such thing as gravity. We’ve all got coulies to climb. We’ve all got trenches to dig out of. We’ve all got rivers to cross, or follow, or get re-circed in. We’ve all got puddles to jump & ice to break. We’ve all got mailboxes to smash. Sometimes other people smash our mailboxes too. Sometimes all the letters whip out & get scattered to the 4 winds. Someone said something once about the night being coldest just before the dawn. We’ve all got holes to fill. Sometimes them holes is all that’s real. But you know what? Imma light this bitch up—in all the best ways.
Let’s start a revolution.
So hold yer NA Busch high—cheers to the good times & the shit ones too—cuz duh w’out bad ya ain’t know what’s good ✌🏽 •

Una oda al lugar 🇲🇽 primero, solo lugar. Porque mi gente es lo máximo—hermanas tan grande y llena de amor—Asi tengo que seguir cocinando la oda a mi gente, como el arroz en la olla •

This goes to those
Tempest chasing tippy toed
This goes to those
The revelers
Revereing dust cyclones
This goes to those
Who unfurl their wings with the storm
All my die hards
Who tango
In the heart of the deluge
This goes to those
Donning hiking boots on Playa
All my barefoot dancers
The all night sober shredders
Rockin wool socks in deep mud puddles
This goes to those
Trading out the cute planned outfits
For raincoats & wrecked clothes
Who strike out old school
Heel-toe, steel toe
No f*cks, snackpack backpack
Late night soaked & stoked
Deep Playa art tour or bust
This goes to those
Who don’t need no RV
No ebike
No hot shower
This goes to those
Who conquer 16 hour gate road
Forcing laughing crying wakefulness
Eating dried habanero mango
from some gas station 3 states over

This goes to those
Who still carry their wings from the 747
This goes to those
Beautiful strangers who held my duvytene blanket
Who fed me pizza on the dance floor
Who have ever been Camp Dad
This goes to those
Who may be out there still
still
still searching for the DMV
