Remember, Remember… #50501

“I’m sorry, but I don’t want to be an emperor. That’s not my business. I don’t want to rule or conquer anyone. I should like to help everyone - if possible - Jew, Gentile - black man - white. We all want to help one another. Human beings are like that. We want to live by each other’s happiness - not by each other’s misery. We don’t want to hate and despise one another. In this world there is room for everyone. And the good earth is rich and can provide for everyone. The way of life can be free and beautiful, but we have lost the way.

Greed has poisoned men’s souls, has barricaded the world with hate, has goose-stepped us into misery and bloodshed. We have developed speed, but we have shut ourselves in. Machinery that gives abundance has left us in want. Our knowledge has made us cynical. Our cleverness, hard and unkind. We think too much and feel too little. More than machinery we need humanity. More than cleverness we need kindness and gentleness. Without these qualities, life will be violent and all will be lost…

The aeroplane and the radio have brought us closer together. The very nature of these inventions cries out for the goodness in men - cries out for universal brotherhood - for the unity of us all. Even now my voice is reaching millions throughout the world - millions of despairing men, women, and little children - victims of a system that makes men torture and imprison innocent people…” taken in McHenry, Illinois by @luxardobob

Humble brag, incoming. I recently became roommates with this beautiful three legged vixen and I had to show it off and throw a little love at her creator @christophermichaelhefner @cmhtattooer . She has moved around the house a few times but I think she has settled here with new friends Clowney and my favorite 3 dimensional object “Sqingkels”. A ceramic masterpiece by @lordofpopcorn. Forgive all the reflections. They look great live but make taking pictures impossible. I have a lot more work from Chris scattered in dark little pockets of my home. But my Vixen and her sister “The Murderess”. (that absolutely beautiful charcoal brush work a couple pictures in) I owe a proper full gallery post to show all the works I’ve collected over the last decade. But this will do for now. These images and objects make me happy ever day. They are members of the house, as are many of their other siblings. Thanks for doing what you do. by @luxardobob

Read this and tell me how great America is. Where is the “honor” in breaking your word? We have been traitors to our own promises for well over a decade now. Why should anyone take us seriously? Read this and tell me it’s important to wear a suit in the Oval Office. I’d like to take a dump on the carpet. Who would even notice with all the other piles of shit sitting around in there. Talking to you @jdvance you walking colostomy bag. “Be more thankful.” You are a coward and an idiot. You have no business being in a meeting with a man like Zelenskyy. You are way beneath him. That was not diplomacy. That was a pathetic attempt to justify being on your knees with your hands around Putins ass. Hope you brought your toothbrush. #stoprussianaggression #potus #jdvance #standwithukraine #weak by @luxardobob
