Here’s the TEA! Your girl is moving to the Exchange! A commercial live/work dream! A historic building completely renovated and modern with such special character touches left in tack! 4 floors half the building all to myself! First and second floor are work & studio with the most incredible natural light and exposed brick! Even the perfect shower in studio for shower shoots! And then third and fourth floor living and shooting for my amazing real estate & content clients! It’s the complete package perfect for my new journey & rebrand! Story time to come! I have had the keys for 4 days and moved the studio already! And I am booking! No down time! Let’s go! I am so inspired to create here both photography and design of LUXE By Jill and build a peaceful space and home! Just you wait for the decor! For those of you who have been apart of this intense last couple months of hustle to help make this happen, I love you! You know who you are! Cheers! I did it!

The cake says divorced. The woman holding it says FINALLY. 🖤👑

Seven years separated.

SEVEN.

And today, I’m officially divorced.

I married a man I didn’t truly want to marry, and somewhere along the way, I completely lost myself.

I lost friends. I became surrounded by his life instead of building my own. I was made to believe my needs should come second — that the gym could wait, that my life should revolve around taking care of him, cooking, and simply being there for him.

I didn’t fully understand what was happening at the time.

It was after having my kids that I started seeing things differently. I started realizing just how much of myself I had given away.

And even when I knew I needed to leave, it took me about two years to actually do it.

Leaving wasn’t easy.

Neither was everything that came after.

I had to find my voice. Learn to trust myself. Rebuild friendships. Learn that I was allowed to have wants, boundaries, dreams, opinions, a body I loved, a life I loved — and that I didn’t need permission to live it.

There are still things that trigger old fears. Sometimes the way someone talks to me can take me right back to a version of myself I worked incredibly hard to leave behind.

But that woman isn’t running my life anymore.

Because somewhere along the way, I found myself.

And I found a life that feels like mine.

So yes, I’m wearing the black dress.
Yes, I have the crown. 👑
Yes, I have the ridiculous heart-shaped sunglasses. 🖤
And YES, I got myself a damn divorce cake. 😂

Because this isn’t just the end of a marriage.

It’s the celebration of everything it took to become me again.

Seven years later…

I’m officially divorced.

And officially…
