Sometimes the best part of an adventure is an amazing meal made on a single burner.
Friends, family and no cell service sounds pretty good to us.
Pack some @luxeflybasecamp and go do your thing, if it’s over-landing, day hikes or the PCT.

Make the plans, call your bestie and get outside. If you’re not boon-docking or over-landing, hit up : recreation.gov and get some camp sites or backpacking permits (enchantments opened up yesterday 2/15)

Five friends set out to ride and scout the @sierra_camino
a segment of the @orogenesiscollective trail, the longest mountain bike trail on the planet at around 5000 miles.
Orogenesis is the brainchild of Oregon Timber Trail creator @GabrielAmadeus

The Sierra Camino is the section that covers the zone from the Sierra foothills in Downieville, CA traveling all the way down to Mammoth Lakes, CA. It’s rough and raw and rugged from start to finish.

They rode the segment from Incline Village to Mammoth Lakes and covered 240 Miles over 6 days with 26,000 feet of climbing. 🤩 WOW

Just picked up an AMAZING haul from @groundworkorganics ……Italian Kale for your Carbonara, Corn for the Chowder and Elote, Romas ready for Ranchero and Pico, Strawberries for French Toast and Tres Leches, and 80# of Poblano Peppers for Chile Relleno.

Lick an ear of (non organic) corn, I dare you!!!!
Do you know how much pesticide spray is used in the fields to keep the bugs at bay……?
Have you seen a non organic hot house growing tomatoes, they are picked GREEN most of the time, where did the nutrients go🤷‍♀️?????

A little wild mushroom biscuits and gravy tutorial, with real time sounds of excitement!
We added the new drop ‘just pork’ (dropping October 1st) to bulk up the protein and it was a perfect share for two people on a moderate seven mile day, lasted us well into a late lunch!

Oregon chanterelles and lobster mushrooms are popping off right now, and we are gravy making like crazy 😎…

**This is a backwards countdown 25 hours of adventure and only eating @luxeflybasecamp meals!!!

Our new drop coming out soon, protein packed SEAFOOD GUMBO (and yes, we use shrimp, crab, chicken and andouille sausage) organic okra, locally grown.
A spicy side packet of freeze dried lemon and scallions with toasted chile de arbol….

We polished this off by the river, getting ready for a post hike soak @belknap2018 hot springs.
