And I remember thinking that made perfect sense.”

Hermione tilts her head. “Why?”

“Because I already loved someone,” he says simply. “I told him that, actually. Right there in the groom’s suite. After my one sip of whisky.”

Hermione’s eyes widen slightly. “You did?”

“I said I was going to marry you,” he says.

She nearly chokes on empty air.

“I was very serious about it,” he continues, completely deadpan now. “I explained that I loved Hermione, that I would protect Hermione, and that therefore it was the obvious solution.”

Hermione presses her lips together. “And what did my dad say?”

“He stared at me for a very long time,” he says. “And then he told me that while he appreciated the sentiment…I could not marry you.”

“Because?”

“Because,” he says, looking directly at her, “we had just become step-siblings.“

Babies first dead dove dramione 👀

But Dust and Shadow by @ikorous
Art by @elidormiens

I enjoyed this fic so much that I decided to make “merch” inspired by the bookstore Draco works in. Hermione would definitely buy a tote bag and fridge magnet just to put a couple extra sickles in Malfoys pocket.

“I hated you. And then I hated you because I couldn’t hate you. And then... I forced myself to feel nothing about you for a very long time. And now I will never know that peace again.”

A Hard Row to Hoe by @blessdtoaster
Art by @the_riria

When I saw this art by @the_riria for AHRTH I could not stop thinking about it which resulted in me scrapping the entire first version of this bind that I was making. Thank you again giving me permission to use it.
Shout out to @subtlesuttle for the photography tips and as always special thanks to @vellumnoctisbindery for freaking out with me over this design and being the best hype woman.

Hope you guys don’t mind another ‘it doesn’t count’ post. 🥲Here’s a closer look at the art I did for this fic because I’m so proud of it. I really tried to capture their angst. @molivierposts wrote such a beautifully gut wrenching story and I will continue to talk about this step sibling AU until the end of time. It’s created a wormhole in my brain where it has taken up permanent residence next to her mafia AU (also a big fan). Lots of time has been spent pondering this story since I read it a month ago. A collection of one shots by @pacificrimbaud I made as a trade for @dragon_otter 🦋🌷

My first time making an anthology and I had so much fun reading some of @dragon_otter fav one shots and coming up with this idea for a bind which is the result of letting the spirit move me so to speak. And you know I had to add a little Tomione at the end as a treat. :’)

A new bombshell (evil hot death eater Draco) has entered the villa.

Some of the art I drew for my “where the wild things go” - @ladysophiac_writes bind.

My original plan was to have Hermione on the cover and Draco on the back and then I hated the way that looked so I ended up combining all of the art that I had done to make the cover i went with. Happy to finally share this labor of love with everyone. by @lwbinds

Where the Wild Things Go - @ladysophiac_writes
All art by me using procreate

I’m so happy to finally share this bind!!! I have spent the last few weeks drawing every single piece of art for this fic from the cover to end pages to chapter headers to scene breaks 🫪 after binge reading it in 2 days with @vellumnoctisbindery because we can’t be normal about anything. Janelle has dubbed this my magnum opus and I may have to agree. Separate art post otw to fully appreciate the details.

“It’s not a big deal, just something I thought of. Do you remember when we were kids and you spent that week at my house?” He makes a deep voice in his throat. “I told you I wasn’t sure if God was listening to me when I prayed, and you told me to pray to you instead.”
He’s quiet. She thinks the line may have disconnected.
Maybe she shouldn’t have brought this up. Maybe he doesn’t remember.
Then she hears his breathing. Low and steady.
“Do you have a prayer for me?”
“I..” hope you’re happy, hope you’re healthy, hope you think of me like I think about you. “What did you mean by that, back then?”
“What all little boys want. I wanted you to make me your god.”
“What about now?”
“Goodnight, Hermione.”

THE WAY THIS FIC HYPNOTIZED ME. I had no idea what I was getting into when I first picked this up. I could not put it down and even then I was rereading my highlights FOR DAYS (even now) conducting a full blown investigation. My binding wife @vellumnoctisbindery obsessed over it with me and together we fell down the rabbit hole binding it. This is also my first attempt at making my own art for a fic. What can I say? I was a woman possessed. Now we are coming to you as humble servants to implore you to read this fic where tom is a hot chess grandmaster and Hermione is his childhood friend/neighbor.

Art by @bexo.hara commissioned by me

I have wanted to do a “wuthering heights” inspired bind since I saw the trailer for the first time and knew I had to commission something for this exchange or I was simply not going to be able to rest. @bexo.hara brought my vision to life so perfectly. @vinehawthorn @redvamp.bindery thank you for hosting this exchange. I had the best time with it. And of course thank you @vellumnoctisbindery for listening to me crash out over the first 5 fails and my indecisiveness. We survived. Dark lord daddy 4ever 🖤
