First day of 10th & 7th! 🦁

Maddie’s technically been back at it for two weeks with volleyball, but today made it official. Abby kicked off 7th grade with bright-and-early volleyball tryouts, because apparently school wasn’t nerve-wracking enough already.

This morning came extra EARLY, but these two were ready. Here’s to a great year for my girls! And hopefully an early bedtime for me tonight. by @lydiawilliams

FIFTEEN years of watching this girl quietly become one of the strongest people I know. Quiet, patient, steady, and strong in all the ways that matter. Gentle and caring off the court, fierce and fearless on it. Happy 15th birthday, Maddie. Watching you become who you are is one of my greatest joys.

My AbbyBABY is 13! TEEN? 😭 I can’t. Watching her step into this season of life has been one of my greatest joys. Seeing her try new things like softball 🥎 and cheer 📣, and the way she’s embraced them with confidence and excitement, has been so fun to witness. She is growing into herself in the most beautiful way—full of joy 😊, full of life 🌈, and full of love for everyone around her.💕 The way she cares about people, her heart for animals, and her natural ability to bring fun and light wherever she goes is so special. I am so proud of the young woman she is becoming, and I love getting to walk alongside her as she discovers all that God has for her. I feel bad for people who aren’t her mom because this girl is pure sunshine. ☀️🤪
