In many cultures Mothers are held at the highest honor and reverence ✨ the heart of the home, community, village, culture.
The Mother sets the tone that ripples out into the collective💦
Becoming a mother to a living breathing child has deepend my connection to our earth in ways I don't believe our language has the words to express.
When my mom passed I was 19 & my relationship with the divine mother expanded in the most loving way. In the moments I yearned for a warm embrace from my mom I felt our earth come alive and pull me in. Whispering to me that she would never leave me, would always guide me, always protect and provide for me. In feeling that truth I vowed to care for her in the way she cared for me & she told me to care for her children
& so i did & if you know me you know i understood the assignment
It was rare to see me in my 20s with out a baby on my hip or running around with the kieki 🌈
Now I see why our divine mother gave me that assignment because becoming a mama, the joy and rest I feel in my body seeing my daughter being loved on and cared for by her aunties n uncles is unmatched 🥰

Motherhood is such a natural part of life and yet there are many women who will never be able to experience what it is to bring a child into the world to raise them up and what I'm most excited for, seeing them become parents (yes, i dream about being a grayed out grandma)
I hold so much reverence and gratitude that the most high allowed me to become a mama to such a beautiful beacon of light and divine love 👼🏽

In yogic traditions, motherhood is the highest level of yoga
Which means you will never be as close to union with the most high/ God as you are when you are a conscious loving mama (i didn't make these rules 🤣)

Mamas, honor your role as mama.
Its the only thing you will do that you are irreplaceable 🌈
Trust the way you show up is exactly what their little souls need for their divine path & if you feel like you can be doing better than do ittttt
Ask for support and allow yourself to show up BIG for your children

God will thank you later 🥰

Feeling grateful for my ancestors & all the strong ass melanated women & men that came before me. Filling my blood with literal gold & gifting me my crystalline DNA
My grandparents knew what they were doin when they chose to leave paradise so we can create our own.
Shout out to all the first gens out here remembering the ways of our ancestors, creating generational wealth & thriving without being immersed in your cultural roots
There are so many things wrong with this country and yet our parents / grand parents work so hard for us. FOR US. To have the opportunities they didn't to choose to be and do ANYTHING ✨🌈🤎

Thank you to everyone that came out for Lily's 5th Mermaid Birthday Party. Your love, time, and presence made her day feel truly special. We are so grateful for each of you. The weather may have brought the rain, but all of you brought the sunshine.

Lily is growing up so fast, and every year she amazes us with her big heart, bright personality, and all the ways she’s learning and exploring the world. Watching her shine has been one of our greatest joys. Every year she becomes a little braver, a little brighter, and a lot more herself. We couldn’t be prouder of the sweet, silly, wonderful girl she’s becoming.

Big 4 for our Lily Love! Thank you to everyone that came out for Lily's 4th Princess Peach Birthday Party. We are grateful for everyone that showed up for Lily's celebration. The day was filled with good vibes, family, love & activities. It was quite the switch up from our spooky party we had last year, which just goes to show how much changes in her mind in a year. Every year we go back and forth on if we are going to have a party for her birthday, and we always end up deciding to do so as it gets closer because our Lily Love LOVES celebrating. She helps us plan each party and has picked the theme for her 2nd, 3rd & 4th birthday party. They are really special for her and we are blessed to be able to offer her these experiences and share it with our loved ones. Multiple times throughout her party she said "this is the best day of my life," which really, what more could parents ask for. Plus, if you know us, you know we love curating events, and it gives us an opportunity to work our magic behind the scenes. This day also marks another year in the books celebrating parenthood and all of the lessons and blessings that come with it. We look forward to many more celebrations and seeing our Lily Love continue to grow and evolve into the person she is becoming. Here is a short recap of some of the festivities.

Lily helped me pick the audio 😭
Also am I the only that had to look up what demure meant ?

We are not demure but we are mindful 💫

Lily saw these shoes and lit up so we tried them on & she wouldn't take them off 💎🐚

Watching her strut through the day for the rest of our afternoon reminded me what a lil accessorizing can do for a gal 🧜🏽‍♀️

Have you ever explored how other countries navigate schooling?
Aside from my kid being never poked and literally not allowed to be enrolled in school 💉 theres so much more about traditional american schooling that just doesnt sit well with my soul

In no way would I ever pass judgment on a families decision on how they foster their childs intelligence, creativity, and overall well being. I have come to the realization that traditional schooling is not the path for us
Our children deserve us to have curiosity around what they are being exposed to on a daily basis. Especially when our traditional school schedule has them spending majority of their waking hours away from us

Here are just a few reasons why I won't be enrolling my lil one in public school :

✨ I really do feel children belong close to their mamas
I understand that in todays world, that is a blessing and privilege and i am so grateful to be in a position to maximize this privilege

✨ Our current system is centered around testing not learning
Did you know some first world countries don't even utilize standardized testing in primary school
And these students are more intelligent compared to american students 😬
✨ there are some demonic agendas in place infiltrating the public school system
there is no other way to say this y'all, somethings are just no excusable

✨ my bby is still a bby
Did you know other countries with more successful schooling systems don't introduce academics till age 6 or 7
These students often time absorb the information much quicker. My three year olds main priority right now is PLAY
✨Her education would not be able to flow at her pace
Being able to fly through subjects she grasp quickly and take her sweet time on something a lil more challenging is essential to quality learning
At the rate we are going if she desires, she could be ready for higher education (college) by the time she enters her teens
