I’ve become utterly obsessed with the new @driesvannoten spring summer collection, if anything confirms what I’ve been saying to people for some time it’s this AMAZING collection!

In case you haven’t seen it, BROOCHES ARE BACK!!

ECA #ECAMatters
This is a pic of me when I was having the most wonderful time studying textiles at Edinburgh College of Art from 1993 - 1997.
I am deeply saddened and shocked to learn that the textiles course (alongside performance costume and jewellery) will no longer be taught at the ECA.
I can’t believe that students will no longer have the opportunity I had all those years ago, it was such a fantastic experience and gave me so much.
I am still working in textiles and have been since I graduated from the RCA back in 2000.
Although I attended RCA, it was my time at Edinburgh that helped shape me to even believe I could have a creative career, the course was fantastic.
I honestly don’t think I would be where I am today if it hadn’t been for my time there.
Being at The Edinburgh College of Art was like finding my home.

If you are an alumni from one of the affected courses please join me in asking @edinburghuniversity and @edinburghcollegeofart to reconsider.

P.S. this wasn’t my usual college attire, I was being a mannequin for a friend in fashion.
