**When someone asks if I actually read unfinished books...** Yes. Very much yes.  And no, I don't just read for the plot. I'm noticing the character who suddenly feels different, the chapter that slows down, the dialogue that doesn't sound natural, the scene that needs more emotion, and the tiny detail that might make a reader go, “Wait… what?” That's the beta-reader brain.  Authors, what would you want your beta reader to notice first? #BetaReader #BetaReading #BookEditor #BookEditing #WritingCommunity #AuthorCommunity #Bookstagram #WritersOfInstagram #IndieAuthor #IndieAuthors #SelfPublishedAuthor #SelfPublishing #AmWriting #WritingTips #AuthorTips #ManuscriptEditing #ManuscriptFeedback #WritingAdvice #AuthorLife #BookPublishing #AspiringAuthor #EmergingAuthor #NewAuthor #FictionWriter #NovelWriting #CreativeWriting #WritingInspiration #BookLovers #ReadersOfInstagram #WriterLife by @lyravexa_

POV: You planned the story... your characters had other ideas. Every writer knows the feeling when a character suddenly decides they're in charge. Which one of your characters refuses to listen to you? Tell me about them. #writersofinstagram#writingcommunity#bookstagram#authorsofinstagram#amwriting#writerlife#indieautho#novelwriting#fictionwriter#writingprompt#booklover#creativewriting#characterdevelopment#bookish#author by @lyravexa_
Have you ever worked with a beta reader before publishing your book? A good beta reader does more than point out mistakes. They read your story the way future readers will, helping you spot pacing issues, confusing scenes, weak dialogue, plot holes, and moments that truly shine. If you've used a beta reader before, what was the most valuable piece of feedback you received? Did it change your story for the better? I'd love to hear about your experience in the comments. #BetaReader #BookEditing #AmWriting #WritingCommunity #AuthorCommunity #IndieAuthor #SelfPublishing #WritingTips #NovelWriting #WritersLife #WritingJourney #AmEditing #FictionWriter #FantasyWriter #RomanceWriter #ThrillerWriter #SciFiWriter #BookTok #Bookstagram #AuthorSupport #Editing #Manuscript #WritingProcess by @lyravexa_
Have you ever finished writing a chapter and wondered... "Is this actually working, or am I too close to the story to tell?" That's one of the hardest parts of writing. As a reader, I enjoy reading unpublished manuscripts because there's something special about experiencing a story before it's out in the world. I love seeing memorable characters, emotional moments, and plots that keep me turning pages. So here's a question for writers: **What genre are you writing right now, and what's the biggest challenge you're facing with your manuscript?** Tell me about your book in one sentence. I'll reply to as many comments as I can because I'm always looking for interesting stories to read. 👇 I'm genuinely curious. #Bookstagram #BookCommunity #BookLover #ReadersOfInstagram #BookAddict #ReadingLife #AmReading #CurrentlyReading #BookRecommendations #BookReviewer #BookReview #ReaderLife #Bibliophile #BookNerd #IndieAuthors #IndieBooks #WritingCommunity #AuthorCommunity #AmWriting #WritingLife #AuthorsOfInstagram #WritersCommunity #FantasyBooks #RomanceBooks #ThrillerBooks #MysteryBooks #HorrorBooks #SciFiBooks #SupportIndieAuthors #Bookish by @lyravexa_
