7th best scoring team in the world, on the world’s biggest stage. 🌎

We may not be one of the biggest teams, but we came to fight. Amazing performances across the board from our athletes that we’ll be highlighting in the coming days. taken in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii by @lznptri

Sometimes the best photos aren’t the ones you planned.

I met up with @topgunztriteam athlete @lznptri this morning for a shoot here in Kona, and along the way we ran into her teammate @micsea7 . When you’ve got two Top Gunz athletes, a beautiful stretch of road, and Mike’s equally beautiful @ku_cycle bike, you stop and take the photo.

A little bit of Kona morning light didn’t hurt either.

Great running into you, Mike. And that bike definitely deserved its place in the picture.

IM 70.3 World Championships photo dump (full race recap on FB)
6th/143

Swim.
Fast, wrong direction. Costly.😣
F-, would not recommend.

Bike.
20 mile 4000’ ascent.
Like climbing to the actual sun. 🥵
Descent, Very fast and a little scary,
just how I like it 😎
reclaimed the 25 athletes lost on swim to Monaco.

Run.
Consistent, steady push.
Finally a run I’m not totally frustrated with 😌

Finish,
HAPPY!!!!!!!

Grateful.

For the opportunity,
For the experience;

For my insanely fast @topgunztriteam team mates that inspire me to work just a little harder each day,

The guidance, support and patience (!!!) from the best coach ever (@colinwesleycook 🙌🏻)

And love ( and bubbles!) from the best friends that anyone could ever ask for
@aebarbaree (4 time international sherpa babe!) @m_nickol @tersl97 and @ktsloann

“Anyone can do anything they want, if they want it badly enough.” 6th. In. The. World. 🌎

@lznptri take a bow. She backs up her 6th place finish in Marbella and 5th place finish in Kona on the world’s biggest stages last year with a stellar performance at the 70.3 World Championships in Nice this past weekend. You continue to inspire us with your tenacious grit, work ethic, and desire to seek what’s possible. Onward to Kona- we can’t wait to see you shine. 🌺 by @lznptri

ADK Summer Glamp 2026.

Newport ➡️ Lake Placid.

Summer in the mountains,
living on the river…

I could never have imagined how that first breath of fresh air of the morning could taste,

how a roaring river could be so peaceful,

how silence could be so energizing.

Summer in the ADKS;
A “flat bike ride” is 4000’ 😝
Swimming in a crystal clear lake staring at a white line replaces the black line. #IYKYK.
The Keene descent becomes your regular.

Life as a local;
The Wilmington gas station coffee is pretty good (get the loyalty card!)
ADK “Monday Tuesday Grill” (Rt. 9N):
get there early, specials sell out!
White Brook makes the best ice cream and Big Slide makes the best beer.
It pours every night (so bring in your towel!)

So incredibly grateful for the opportunity to spend summer 2026 in the ADKS;
moving from the fast lane back to the slow lane to recharge, recover and restore 🩷

Peace out Lake Placid, see you again next summer 😊

In today’s episode of “We Can Do Hard Things”,
Happy Valley 70.3! 😆

Coming into this race last year I had a few things going on; a BIG goal for 2025 🌺

1. Two broken toes, and
2. A bone in my teeth because of #1.

I had absolutely no clue if I could even run,
so I rode it like I stole it and prayed for the best.😆

And it all worked out.

Could I repeat that race without the busted toe and the 🔥 in my soul??!?

No pressure! 😂

Race Day? HOT. 🥵🥵🥵

Swim, Not wetsuit legal.
Def room for improvement on both watch skills 😝and sighting, but did not drown. B+.

Bike, 56 miles and 3600’ of climbing, FULL SEND.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Run, “who turned on this heat and who laid out this HILLY MAZE of a course?” 😣
“I’m ready to be done now please ” 😵‍💫

Managed the run and moved UP in the division from 3rd to 2nd (that’s a first!),
calling that a “W” on its own.

Pulled out a strong 2nd place AG @5:47 and Qualifier for the World Championship in Nice, France with a 6’ PR on the bike (and 2 minute loss in transition due to having to SIT DOWN to put compression calf sleeves on wet calves 😩😆)

Fun Fact? This course is so difficult that it allows 30 extra minutes for cutoff 🤓

OVERALL, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for experience and honor to rep, race and THROW IT DOWN with my amazing and badass @topgunztriteam mates,

SPECIAL shout out to LEGEND Natalie Grabow!
The only 80+ year old KONA FINISHER for letting me EXTREME Fangirl!!

and MUCH THANKS to the amazing sponsors that help us show up FAST, well fueled and looking SHARP 😎

@addra_labs (BEST protein bar ever 🙌🏻)
@never.second
@blueseventy
@rudyproject
@maunaapparel (this kit is 🔥🔥🔥🔥
@wahoofitnessofficial(where I spend 90% of my free time 😂🤣)

Thanks for an EPIC race weekend ALL!

Thanks as always Coach @colinwesleycook for getting me to another SOLID start, and another successful finish

REMINDER: WE GET TO DO THIS 🙏🏻

With Gratitude,

L. by @lznptri
