Phoenix says they are making visible progress on transportation. It has extended light rail, installed traffic signals and left-turn arrows, built bike lanes, and added shade at bus stops. Sounds great right? But when the City says it is making progress toward its transportation goals, one question deserves a direct answer: are Phoenix streets becoming safer for motorcyclists? https://michaelinfanzon.substack.com/p/phoenix-is-building-for-2050-motorcyclists by @m.infanzon

Arizona residents benefit from ATF’s new federal suppressor policy, but Form 4473-only transfers are not yet clearly resolved under Arizona law. The federal government has changed its enforcement position. Arizona’s suppressor statute remains in effect, and its exception depends on compliance with federal law. Whether federal nonenforcement satisfies that exception is the central question.
SB1069 would have removed suppressors from Arizona’s prohibited-weapon definition. Today’s ATF policy shows why that matters: federal relief leaves an unresolved state-law question. Arizona needs clarity for lawful owners. Bring SB1069 back in 2027.

Arizona Riders Should Vote Yes on Proposition 141
Arizona motorcyclists have a reason to vote YES on Proposition 141: choosing to ride should not expose you to a state or local tax calculated by the miles you travel.
Proposition 141 would amend the Arizona Constitution to prohibit state and local governments from imposing taxes or fees based on motor vehicle miles traveled. It would also prohibit laws or rules that monitor or limit those miles unless the person voluntarily consents.
For riders, the case comes down to cost, privacy, and the freedom to travel. by @m.infanzon

Veterans Have a Stake in State and Local Elections
The decisions closest to home shape housing, employment, transportation, and family stability.
Arizona begins early voting today for the November 3 general election. For veterans, the ballot deserves attention beyond congressional races. State legislators, county supervisors, city officials, and school board members make decisions that affect our households and communities.
As a Marine veteran, I understand the frustration of hearing candidates praise military service without explaining what they intend to do. Recognition has a place. Veterans also deserve answers about the decisions an office controls and the results a candidate intends to deliver.
Voting in state and local elections helps determine who accepts those responsibilities.

Arizona Riders Need Clear Rules, Not Clickbait

A rider can be following the law on one stretch of pavement and facing a reckless-driving charge on another, depending on what the traffic is doing, what the road allows, and how the rider moves through it. That is why Arizona’s new motorcycle rules deserve a careful read. The recent headlines have focused on bans, fines, and registration hurdles. The actual laws are more specific, and riders need to know where the lines are.

Joining your state's gun rights organization is crucial. Legislators want to know how many people you represent. For less than $100 a year, you can support legislation, litigation, and advocacy. Don't be a spectator; be a player in preserving freedom.

Recently, Cheryl had the opportunity to sit down with @m.infanzon , the Chief Lobbyist for the Arizona Citizens Defense League (AzCDL) @azcdl_official and Managing Partner of EPIC Policy Group, where he also directs government affairs for the Arizona Firearms Industry Trade Association (AZFITA) and represents the Arizona State Rifle and Pistol Association (ASRPA). Through EPIC Policy Group, he advocates for law-abiding citizens and Arizona’s firearms industry before city councils, state legislatures and on Capitol Hill.
AzCDL’s legislative work prioritizes addressing criminal misuse of firearms while protecting the rights of responsible gun owners. Their efforts include restoring and expanding the right to carry firearms openly or discreetly, reducing restrictions on carrying in public spaces, protecting the right to carry in restaurants, preserving the presumption of innocence in self-defense cases, ensuring consistent firearms laws statewide, holding property owners accountable when banning firearms, and strengthening Arizona’s concealed carry framework.

Voting your values matters more than ever. Look at policies and records, not just personalities. Your vote shapes the future.
Every gun owner in Arizona voting their values would create a landslide. Hold representatives accountable to properly represent you.
