Euro camp (as opposed to Eurocamp), take two!

We left planning to the last minute, as per, and I’m afraid AI scraped the internet to come up with a holiday that ticked all the boxes: sandy beach on the doorstep, airports within easy reach, nice cabin accommodation, lots of food options (endless padron peppers! Yes pls), water slides and playground 🛝

Sharing this here really because I was so pleasantly surprised by where we ended up - @tamaritbeachresort

We loved tagging Munich onto our Austria trip earlier this year and so I was pleased we were able to precede the beach break with two days of mooching around Barcelona (joined by the expert @fizzlyfizz!) before getting a local train one hour down the coast.

At Tamarit, the sandy beach is set with jewel like stones, while wood pigeons and red squirrels mooch through the trees around our cabin. Mornings meant a fresh croissant run for breakfast, while other delicious highlights included Vichy Catalan water, caoloat chocolate, olive oil crisps by the handful and sumptuous duck rice for sunset dinners on the beach overlooked by the 11th century castle.

We played ponies in the pool, got obliterated by the inflatable course, jumped in the sea and surfed the waves. After bed time meant local red wine on the bungalow terrace paired with a Milka. Royal-spotting, enclosure-hopping, champagne-popping 🍾 my first Ascot with @rachel_recommends was an absolute triumph (and I’m not just talking about our bets!)

Beyond privileged to have worn @kingsfoundation Ascot Millinery Bursary winner @howie_hatter’s wonderful creation! What an absolute talent.

Goodbye to my first HELLO! year!
There’s been Hollywood covers, supermodel chats, Paris Hilton, David Beckham, Felicity Kendal, Richard E. Grant, Tom Cruise, Janet Jackson, Gary Barlow (scream), Kelly Osbourne, and Patch, our philanthropic guinea pig 🐹 (and so many more - forgive the end of year brain melt 🫠).

Tuesday nights don’t get much better than last week (and you can read all about it in this week’s incredible @hellomag Luxe issue). Kicked things off by crashing @kellyosbourne and @rebeccavallancegasan’s getting-ready get together where Kelly gave me and @alex_lilly the inside scoop on her gorgeous relationship with her dad (‘my best friend), being a mum, making a return to reality TV and dealing with plastic surgery rumours (‘this morning I woke up to three videos of doctors going online saying, ‘if you want what Kelly’s had done, you need this, this and this. I’ve never done any of that. I really haven’t’).

And then it was onto a shimmering summer’s evening at the Serpentine with a starry crowd, stunning music (Caroline!) and spot-on servings of Ruinart.

Scream! My first @hellomag cover interview is out TODAY!

such a great, unguarded chat with the gorgeous @yasminlebon - she was incredibly open as to how she has navigated the ‘deep dark days’ of menopause, the burden of living with back pain - the legacy of her ‘80s modelling - and I was surprised when she admitted how doomscrolling can get to her too (genuinely, who would have thought?!).

Plus! What it was like to be present during daughter Amber’s 40-hour labour, being married to Simon LeBon for *nearly* 40 years marriage, and how she still looks so incredible (‘I try really hard!’).
