Royal-spotting, enclosure-hopping, champagne-popping 🍾 my first Ascot with @rachel_recommends was an absolute triumph (and I’m not just talking about our bets!)

Beyond privileged to have worn @kingsfoundation Ascot Millinery Bursary winner @howie_hatter’s wonderful creation! What an absolute talent.

Thank you @beyonddevelopments for an unforgettable Day One and for inviting into the historic Parade Ring 🐎

Last week we spent a magical few days in Flaine staying at @pierreetvacances Premium Residence Les Terrasses d’Helios 🎿❄️🌨️⛷️

Our amazing itinerary included snow showing to an igloo, ice quad biking and a tour of the resort’s art and architecture, along with plenty of time to enjoy the slopes @flaine_resort_official

Mind, eye, soul blowing. @the_rhs Chelsea Flower Show.

My best friend told me to take a second when I was at Chelsea to just look around at where I was: THE Chelsea Flower show as a guest of one of my design heroines @susiewatsondesigns surrounded by world class garden designers and a gazillion celebrities.

My friend is very wise, sadly I classically got lost on the way to the ground so arrived very late, was overwhelmed by beauty and people but gratefully sunk into Susie’s gloriously comfortable chairs with a glass of champagne and was taken under the beautiful wings of @laurahomeandlifestyle and @ourclapboardhomebythesea who steered me in all the right directions (“posh loos this way”), pointed out all the glorious gardens and only lost their glamorous cool when they saw Mary Berry!

What an extraordinary day. I will add to my what to take list with “battery pack for phone” as I zapped mine only half way round!

My neck hurts from gazing at the true craftsmanship of the gardens but then whipping round to gaze at Joanna Lumley, Kirstie Allsopp, Alan Titchmarsh (who also fell gratefully into Susie’s siren call chairs and apparently he has lots of her furniture at home!!) and I even managed to capture Felicity Kendall in the King’s Trust garden (I was trying to film it once the two figures moved out of shot only to realise that it was Flick who I was cursing with my gardenerly eye behind the lens).

A huge thank you to @lavenderandlovage , @hillhousevintage and @mymulberryhouse who all took time out of their hectic schedules to come and find me and check that I was ok.

I am only now taking the opportunity to step back and my goodness I am beyond grateful. For amazing friends, amazing women I have been lucky enough to work for and for gardening designers who create ravishing beauty, question our climate change future, highlight amazing causes and inspire and provoke big thoughts.

@rhschelsea is truly a magical wonderland and I am so grateful to Susie and Anna for inviting me to this once in a lifetime day.

Happy totally bonkers Tuesday x

"I was absolutely delighted to meet very talented human journalist @m1randathompson who wrote this fantastic two page article about me for popular human magazine @hellomag !!♥️

When I had my telephone interview, I listened so carefully to her voice and I knew that she was a very nice human indeed!

I really enjoyed meeting Miranda in person and getting such a pig hug from her. She made me feel very loved!

I was having such a good time that I couldn't stop kissing Immy! 💕

I've had a busy couple of days, and I was out very late last night with my friend @lelopezm so I did take a nap in the @hellomag office! 😳

I'd really really like to thank my very good friend @lelopezm
for putting me forward for this wonderful opportunity! 🖤🌹 I couldn't believe that she thought of me straight away in relation to animals with interesting lives!

I still can't believe that we've gone from me comforting Immy in bed because of her neck injury 4 years ago, to me having so many incredible experiences, seeing so many new places and receiving friendship from humans I meet!
I am sure that many of my brothers and sisters went to live as "pets" with local humans, so I know that the unusual path my life has taken has been very special!
