This is a day I never wanted to come. I’ve been fighting myself making the toughest decision i’ve ever had to the last couple months. After 15 years, I am calling a quits to baseball. This is something my younger self would absolutely hate me for. The dream was to always make it to the mlb and by God did I have the heart for it. But coming to a realization that I just didn’t have what it takes to make it killed me. I went to college to give myself a couple extra years even while knowing I was going to work carpentry after either way. For the last couple of days I knew it was my time to stop and start working for the future I’ve been wanting.

Thank you to every coach, every teammate, every single person involved along the way. You have all made me the person I am today and I couldn’t be any happier with that. I wouldn’t take back a single second that I have experienced.

I have let myself down in this decision but I won’t let myself down on the work I am going to be doing. Big things coming soon. Not a good bye to baseball but a see you in another life time.

Wish it could’ve all worked out the way I dreamed of. by @m_lenny8
