Happy Sunday everyone!

I finished Play Nice by Rachel Harrison earlier today and with that I've finally completed my 2026 A-Z reading challenge (kind of👀🫠) I had to get rather creative with the letter X and also ignore "the" for Q and U but here we are....

I've read 127 books so far this year so you'd think I'd have no trouble finding a title for each letter but it has proven more difficult than I thought..

Have you read (m)any of these titles?

Two for Tuesday!

I rated both Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn and Bright Young Women by Jessica Knoll ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Gone Girl was recently voted number one in the New York Times best thrillers list of the 21st century and for good reason.. it's an absolute masterclass in psychological thrillers...the suspense, the plot twists... phenomenal. I absolutely flew through this book! Can't believe it took me so long to pick this book up...

Bright Young Women is an unflinching thriller based on Ted Bundy's heinous crimes, as two women search for justice in the wake of his brutal murders. This book flips the script and shifts the attention away from the killer and onto the brave women who fight for the truth. Absolutely incredible read that triggered a visceral reaction! Phenomenal!

Have you read either of these books yet? If not pick them up now🤓 you can thank me later🤓🤓 by @m_mostlybooks

FRIENDS BOOK CHALLENGE!

Friends first aired on September 22nd 1994 -
32 years ago today🫣🙈!
(It's extremely millennial of me to still think that the nineties were ten years ago🙈🙈😅😅😅) Let me be delusional 🫶🤣

I absolutely love this series and so this friends book challenge seems very appropriate today..
This is the one with the books I've read this year 📚 🤓
All these books are absolutely fantastic imo!
How many of these have you read?

Recent charity shop finds!

Did I need more books? Probably not!
Did I buy more books? Absolutely!

Gone Girl was recently voted number one in the New York Times list:
"The 50 Best Thrillers of the 21st Century" and I haven't read it🙈🫣👀 so I'm looking to get into it very soon..
We Need to Talk about Kevin also made that list at number 14 and I honestly can't wait to read this either..
I've only read 15 books from that list so far which is quite shocking for someone who mainly reads crime and thrillers 🙈🫠 so I'm trying to start working my way through it!

I also found The Chain by Adrian McKinty, which seems like a perfect spooky season read..., The Good Guy by Dean Koontz and Magpie by Elizabeth Day!

Have you read any/all of these?
