hey folks, i had a weird day today lol. after like 3ish years of working at Limestone, i accepted a job at a place called John Brown’s Underground, and they’re some really, really cool and sweet and smart people!
BUT!!! that also means that today, i left a group of people at another place, which is called Limestone. i have way too many pics to post of this pizza joint, but here’s a few.
i feel so lucky to have learned so much from everyone from every iteration of the Limestone crew, in so many ways. for me, this isn’t so much about going to another place—it’s about recognizing every individual who helped me learn everything i know today, and every single person who was patient enough to let me learn from them.
now don’t get me wrong, i’m going to keep absorbing as much as i can—about life, about ingredients, about food, about technique, and about love, but i feel so enriched from these folks. every single person at this ol’ pizza shop has made feel loved and appreciated in one way or another. they’re all smart, kind, and so willing to learn as much as i am. i’ll still be around for all of them, just as they have been for me.
