If I figured out anything over these last couple days, it’s that I’m surrounded by a community of people who have loved and supported me long before Charlie Harper’s theatrical release.

To those who sent photos and texts this weekend, thank you for seeing the movie in theaters (and please God stop taking photos of the screen as the film plays). To those who I don’t know and told me what the film meant to them, thank you. To those who left absolute gold on letterboxd, thank you. And to those who said they would see my film opening weekend and haven’t, well, I haven’t been to your workplace either, so thats okay too. by @mac_eldridge

A chance to direct a spot for the US Women’s Open? And to shoot at The Riv? And to direct Don Cheadle and Owen Wilson? Wow.

Thanks to the fine folks at the USGA for giving me and Derby the chance to make this happen. We had less than one week to put together this shoot, and I couldn’t have been more thankful to have such awesome people surrounding me.

Reality does not often live up to your expectations, and rarely does it surpass them. Yet somehow, even with the weight of a dream that’s been living in my head for over 20 years, premiering CHARLIE HARPER at @tiff_net was more than I ever imagined.

From the people who I know and love and made my first movie with, to the people I’ll hopefully make my next movie with, and to all the people who watched the movie and helped us share it with the world: thank you. I can’t wait to be back with my next one. taken in TIFF Toronto International Film Festival by @mac_eldridge

Year 2 of the MDY Mid-Cap Cup! Always a pleasure directing @marcevanjackson and @annikas59, along with Ryder Cup captain and newcomer to the Mid-Cap Cup, @keeganbradley1

Thanks again to McCann and State Street for inviting me to collaborate with them again. This shoot made me wish I could shoot every TVC in Santa Barbara for the rest of my career.
