"I really love flawed women. That was part of what playing Azula has taught me. There's just so much of a whole world within them. One of the biggest joys of my life is getting to explore with Azula. So the idea of getting to do that with a completely different person who I then have to explore: what can I empathize with them and what can I learn from them, even though I might not agree with their decisions? I think that that's super cool. “I was so excited that it was a portrayal of a teenage girl who was going through all those emotions and feeling them, and it wasn’t making fun of that. I mean, people will say what they want to say, but those are all very real emotions. Whatever she was going through, love triangle or not, I think those are all really real feelings at sixteen or seventeen. And sometimes they’re not taken as seriously, especially with teenage girls. “I just got completely wrapped up and swept up in the story and forgot what I was playing the game for. I loved it. I saw who Tommy was and the spirit of the character and his humor and how light-hearted he is when you first meet them and how carefree he is, and to see how far of a journey he goes away from that free spirit, carefree-type attitude.
