"I genuinely don't know if it gets any better than that. Doing your art, feeling your feelings freely, and then getting paid for it in this economy as a millennial, it doesn't get any better."

"I really love flawed women. That was part of what playing Azula has taught me. There's just so much of a whole world within them. One of the biggest joys of my life is getting to explore with Azula. So the idea of getting to do that with a completely different person who I then have to explore: what can I empathize with them and what can I learn from them, even though I might not agree with their decisions? I think that that's super cool. That's part of what my passion is with this job."

As the fan-favorite #PrincessAzula on Netflix’s hit adaptation of #AvatarTheLastAirbender, #ElizabethYu is finding her creative voice through her powerful portrayal of a complicated character and a cast and crew of fellow Asian Americans.

“I am still in the process of saying goodbye to her, and I think it’s going to take me some time. I think that’s okay because, you know, I played her for eight years. She still lives in me, and I hope I get to take the best parts of her and the best lessons of her and incorporate them into who I am.”

As her five-season arc as #Starlight on the hit superhero satire #TheBoys comes to an end, our latest digital cover subject #ErinMoriarty reminisces about growing up alongside her character and opens up about the autoimmune disease she has been fighting.

“I just love being part of something from the start. As actors, we’re used to being told, ‘You’re just an actor, you’re here to fulfill someone else’s vision and story.’ That can obviously be frustrating at times. I feel like I have so much or can have so much to share and a lot to bring to the table—nuance and tiny details and how small things can make such a big difference.”

After playing Lara Jean’s mischievous younger sister in the hit series of #ToAlltheBoys films, our latest digital cover subject #AnnaCathcart continues to grow and learn with her character as the lead in #XOKitty, now in its third season.
