This is a very special one. Do you know about Mack Loenz, the new side project from Exzakt?

Why a new alias? Go listen to the music and you will understand.

This is the debut Mack Loenz LP 2×12", From The Heart.

A project that allowed me to explore a different side of my music, bringing together vocals, melody, synths and the freestyle + electro influences that have been with me for years, but in a way that felt right for Mack Loenz.

The vinyl is available now through Lone Romantic: https://loneromantic.bandcamp.com

Massive shout out to Maceo Plex for helping me get this out into the universe.

Following the official release of From The Heart on 2×12” vinyl, it felt only right to visit the amazing and thriving record scene here in Barcelona.

Discos Paradiso. Rhythm Control. Crokan Mutant Store.

These are the places where the physical side of our culture continues to live. The people, the places, the connections, the conversations, the discoveries, and the vibes that you simply cannot get from a screen.

In a world moving faster and faster toward digital consumption, Lone Romantic continues to introduce physical products that help keep the pulse of the underground alive.

Because this is where the heart of the music really lives.

Spotlight Mix: Mack Loenz 🔥

My new Spotlight Mix for Data Transmission is live.

18 tracks of electro, house, techno and bass-heavy club music, including two tracks from my forthcoming From The Heart LP on Maceo Plex’s Lone Romantic.

A proper late-night selection with a few exclusives, VIPs and plenty of low-end pressure.

Big love to Data Transmission for the feature and support.
