Tenjaku Pure Malt Whisky Sherry Cask is a limited edition and a unique Japanese creation by master blender Kenji Watanabe. This blend of 100% malt whisky combines ages of 3, 5, 8, and 12 years with an additional maturation of at least six months in Oloroso sherry casks. The result is a perfectly balanced whisky that combines elegance and depth. The use of long-matured components clearly distinguishes this edition from the regular Tenjaku Pure Malt. A whisky that embodies time and craftsmanship. by @macnathair

November better known as “Movember” is MENS MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH

It’s okay not to be okay!

Mental Health… not something to joke about or to take lightly.

As so many men (and women) I also once experienced trauma, and like so many that overcame it, I too have overcome it, as will you!

Many think that experiencing trauma is due to their own fault and something to be ashamed of. But it isn’t! Always remember that.

It’s not your fault, let alone be ashamed of it!!!

Experiencing trauma is not worth a daily battle for a lifetime. Talking about it with your friends and loved ones is very important because it creates awareness and understanding and will lift a serious weight of your shoulders. Shared sorrow is half sorrow.

Never forget that you too are beautiful in your entire being and that you too have the right to live life to the fullest!

To all who are struggling… find and embrace help because in life,…
“Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional!”

Please take care and don’t be a stranger.

And always remember,…
You’re loved! Much more than you know.

Just heard the devastating news of the passing of Ozzy Osbourne!

He and his music were one of my first great loves in the hard rock/heavy metal genre. I still thoroughly enjoy his legacy in that area.
For me, as well as for many others, he is and remains one of the most important musicians who has influenced generations and will continue to do so for a very long time.

His recent grand farewell concert with the original lineup of Black Sabbath was the crowning achievement of his work and life.
Sharon, his children, and he himself gave themselves and hard rock and metal-loving fans a tremendous gift with it. What an accomplishment!

We have lost the prince of darkness! And that hurts deeply. My musical heart cries so much right now and in the days to come.

I wish Sharon, the children, the rest of the family, and his closest friends much strength during this extremely difficult time.

Rest in peace, Prince of Darkness. You were an inspiration to many of us, and were and will stay one of my idols, and I will miss you terribly!!!

What an icon the music world has lost!!!

Pasta salad with tuna, mixed with fresh home made pesto and a dash of Italian olive oil.

In this warm weather (32*C) nothing beats a Mediterranean dish accompanied with a fresh and cold served Pino Grigio from Trentino! Bliss🤩. by @macnathair

Lost one of rock greatest and a legendary guitar wizard today!

John Sykes passed away after a battle with cancer at the age of 65.

He was an enormous figure in Classic rock, Heavy Metal, and the New Wave of British Heavy Metal as a songwriter, guitarist, and frontman in bands such as Tygers Of Pan Tang, Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake, Blue Murder, Sykes and more.

John will be sorely missed

R.I.P. 🙏🏻 John Sykes. 😢 by @macnathair

#StandWith Ann.

Thanks to the fact that a cartoon criticizes powerful rich men named Jeff Bezos (Amazon and owner of The Washington post), Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook and Meta) and Sam Altman (OpenAI), as well as Mickey Mouse representing Disney-ABC among others, the cartoon was rejected for placement. The cartoonist Ann Telnaes therefore resigned.

Ann Telnaes says; “My drawings have been rejected more than once and I have been asked for adjustments more than once,” she continues, “but never because of the position the drawing takes. This is a game changer.” “Trying to curry favor with a future autocrat will only lead to to undermine the free press."

According to Telnaes, the drawing criticizes the tech and media companies that have recently done their best to curry favor with incoming President Trump. She writes that their owners, "who have lucrative contracts with the government and want to get rid of regulations," visited Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort.

She receives support from the American Association of Cartoonists. They accuse the newspaper of "political cowardice" and calls on fellow cartoonists to post Telnaes' drawing with the hashtag #StandWith Ann.
"Tyranny thrives in the dark, the Washington Post closes its eyes and collapses like a stricken boxer," the cartoonists' association said.

Well,… it’s not a whisky/book/music post and I’m not a cartoonist but find this behavior of the Washington Post repulsive! Therefor I post this cartoon also with the hashtag #StandWith Ann.

The freedom of press is increasingly coming under pressure in the West! Apparently you are no longer allowed to criticize powerful men for their hypocrisy and repulsive behavior. by @macnathair
