I created a video to share part of the process behind the last animation I posted. It's just a quick show and it doesn't do justice for all the hours of work that animation and sound creation requires. But in times of writing prompts, I thought it would be nice to share it. ;)

Last short animation I have been working on, also audio and music created by me.
It was meant to be a small part of a bigger project, not sure if it is the case any more 😅
I will share soon a video showing a bit of the creation process.

I have many ideas for the name, couldn't decide though. "Potato baby face" "Potatos cry too" "Grumpy potato head"
Ideas are always welcome ✨

Still looking for a project or job as: graphic designer/artist, animator, motion designer or sound designer. So if you have a project or know someone who does, please contact me 😘

Why so angry? Don't you realize? This only leads to destruction.

A little project I have been working in the last months, still experimenting with sound, which took longer than expected. Glad to finally share it :)

I made a short animation illustrating a poem by @marcufierro, from the book "Lo que todavía vive"

Here the poem:

Hubo un tiempo en que la noche
engendró mañanas florecidas
tan frágiles como una infancia.

Hubo una vez -solo una-
en la que no le tuvimos miedo al viento.

Sólo entonces quisimos quedarnos.

I am happy to finally share here a short 2D animation I made, including music and sound design.
It's called "Coffee" and it was pretty much an excuse, to practice some skills I have been learning, and of course to express how I was feeling about coffee when I started working on this, (it's been so long that my intense coffee phase is already over 😅)

If you are an artist or musician, I am searching for people to work with, in projects like music videos or any idea you wanna bring to life. by @macufi_

I was actually working on a self promotion video, but instead, I ended up doing this... I guess it is a little bit more authentic regarding how I feel about social media at the moment. However, still looking for projects 😂 so if you are an artist, a musician or just someone who needs some animations/ graphics/ or what ever just hit me up. Also open for cooperation.

The year is nearly over and we have one last cute little event to celebrate queer art in Cologne with you: ReconQueer the jam session 🌈🎤🎸🎨🖊

We know jam sessions can be a tough place to be around. Especially for queer, trans* and/or BIPoC and artists - because a lot of times the systematic dynamics are shown. Other people (with various privileges) showing off on their instruments, taking up space, playing endless solos, being condescending towards FLINTA* persons and using instruments they have no cultural relation to nor knowledge about.

We want to create another kind of jam session, that's not focused on ego: who's the best guitarist, who writes the catchiest lyrics or who has the best moves but rather focus on creating something together, having a creative outlet for feelings, experiences and engaging in a creative exchange with each other. This can be in form of music and also poetry, dance, painting or whatever you can imagine - the main purpose is inspiration and creating.

It's going to be acoustic, bring whatever you need to make art and feel comfortable (your guitar, ukulele, percussion elements, pen and paper, paint, canvas, dancing shoes, favourite warm socks) and let's reconQueer the jam session together! ❤️‍🔥

Date: 10.12.23
Location: [ku:] Cologne, Bayenstraße 11, Altstadt-Süd
Entry: 6.30 pm
Start: 7 pm
End: 10 pm
