POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I created a video to share part of the process behind the last animation I posted. It's just a quick show and it doesn't do justice for all the hours of work that animation and sound creation requires. But in times of writing prompts, I thought it would be nice to share it. ;)

Last short animation I have been working on, also audio and music created by me.
It was meant to be a small part of a bigger project, not sure if it is the case any more 😅
I will share soon a video showing a bit of the creation process.

I have many ideas for the name, couldn't decide though. "Potato baby face" "Potatos cry too" "Grumpy potato head"
Ideas are always welcome ✨

Still looking for a project or job as: graphic designer/artist, animator, motion designer or sound designer. So if you have a project or know someone who does, please contact me 😘

Why so angry? Don't you realize? This only leads to destruction.

A little project I have been working in the last months, still experimenting with sound, which took longer than expected. Glad to finally share it :)

You don't want the world to stay as it is? Well how could you, it's so f***d up! We want to create a space where we can rant about the things that're happening and have always happened.

❤️‍🔥 Tear down the structures you want to change with your (poetry) slam
❤️‍🔥 Dissect the patriarchy with your sharp jokes
❤️‍🔥 Or cry out your pain in a ballad against a society that was never meant to fit queer, trans*, racialized, marginalized and dis/abled bodies.

And then let's build up again! Let's create an intersectional, antiracist, antioppressive, anticapitalist, queerfeminist utopia in our imagination with our arts and crafts that makes people able to feel how an inclusive and accessible and fair society would benefit everybody.

You want to reconQueer the future together with us? Fill out the artist application form in our bio! We will get back to you until next sunday to let you know if you're part of the fix line-up. Beside that there is always some time at the end of the open stage for spontaneous performances!

Location: [ku:] Bayenstraße 11, 50678 Cologne
Date: 20.06.2025
Entry: 6.30 pm
End: 10 pm
Motto: "reconQueer the future"
Entry for free, donations for the artists highly appreciated as we don't have any funding 💖

The sun is back and we are too ☀️🌈🌻
Next friday we want to celebrate the bravery of queer newcomer artists in and around Cologne with you again!
Spring is the time of new beginnings and ReconQueer the stage is the space to experiment with your freshly blossomed art and craft in front of a loving and sweet audience. You would like to share your blossoming bravery with us? Fill out the application form in our bio ✨️
As the announcement is very short notice this time, everyone who signs up will have a safe spot in the line-up. There's just one condition: you can only share songs, poems, performances etc. that have never seen the light of day (or night) before 🌼🌱

Location: [ku:] Bayenstraße 11, 50678 Cologne
Date: 14.03.2025
Entry: 6.30 pm
End: 10 pm
Motto: "blossoming bravery"

I made a short animation illustrating a poem by @marcufierro, from the book "Lo que todavía vive"

Here the poem:

Hubo un tiempo en que la noche
engendró mañanas florecidas
tan frágiles como una infancia.

Hubo una vez -solo una-
en la que no le tuvimos miedo al viento.

Sólo entonces quisimos quedarnos.

I am happy to finally share here a short 2D animation I made, including music and sound design.
It's called "Coffee" and it was pretty much an excuse, to practice some skills I have been learning, and of course to express how I was feeling about coffee when I started working on this, (it's been so long that my intense coffee phase is already over 😅)

If you are an artist or musician, I am searching for people to work with, in projects like music videos or any idea you wanna bring to life.

I was actually working on a self promotion video, but instead, I ended up doing this... I guess it is a little bit more authentic regarding how I feel about social media at the moment. However, still looking for projects 😂 so if you are an artist, a musician or just someone who needs some animations/ graphics/ or what ever just hit me up. Also open for cooperation.

Some of you may already know the ReconQueer team, but we haven't officially introduced ourselves yet 🙀
We want to catch up on this before the next open stage tomorrow! 🌈

Ethiopia (she/her, 1st slide right) is our marvelous moderator and word wizard, fashion icon, playlist specialist and sharp analyzer of human interactions. Apart from organizing ReconQueer the stage, she is a researcher and organizes events like livingroom concerts or creative sessions and the best carnival partys.
Fun fact: Ethiopia loves balloons 🎈💕

Lenny (he/him, 1st slide middle) is our affectionate allrounder and magnificent multitalent: sometimes technician, decorateur, social bumble bee or loveletter cupidx. He's part of the [ku:] collective, educator for queer and trans* topics and drag performer.
Fun fact: Lenny is Cascada super ultra fan and loves kale 🥬

Mar (all pronouns, 2nd slide left) is our genious grafik designer and fabulous photographer. They are responsible for our great posters, cute animations and captivating photos. Beside that s/he is a musician, singer and whistler, works as a freelance grafik artist and prepares the best grilled sandwiches in a café.
Fun fact: Mar hates olives 🫒 as much as capitalism.

Mags (they/them, 1st slide left) is our proficient planner, and social media manager. Beside that they are a musician and songwriter, creative crafter, social worker and organizer of queer s€xpositive events with the queertopolis collective or lap dancer with the Queer Lapdance Collective.
Fun fact: Mags hates bananas. 🍌❌

Together with other wonderful humans who help us behind the sound mixer, the bar or with emotional support and snacks, we are voluntarily organizing this cute open stage for you and hope to create a space where queer art can be shared, nourished and celebrated in a cozy and welcoming intersectional space. If you would like to help us doing that by giving us feedback, doing a bar shift, handling the mixing desk or organizing the open stages and jams - don't hesitate to contact us 💟

We are so going to reconQueer the stage on june 14th! Sassy pride month to all of you ❤️‍🔥🍑🌶🌈🌌

Last year we already had our sad queer summer but this year will be saucy instead!

Read your juiciest poem, show us the naughtiest nudes you took with your analog camera, become a cocky quing or play your sassiest summer serenade. Artists application is now OPEN, check the link in our bio ✨️

Be direct, be indecent, be political, be shameless, be everything you can't be on other stages.

Be extra sassy and go vote on june 9th if you can! Our rights are not naturally given, we have to fight for, protect and expand them!

Location: We're back at [ku:] (Bayenstraße 11, Altstadt-Süd)
Date: 14.06.2024
Entry: 6.30 pm
End: 10 pm
Motto: "sassy summer"
Entry for free, donations for the artists are highly appreciated as we don't have any funding for this year 😿
