a few more stills from that first road trip across the U.S.

———
to be honest, i never would have thought i’d pack up all my belongings and move 3000 miles away from home. it was always meant to be for a couple of years at most; temporary time away, only to return to the pacific, dynamic mountain peaks, and tacos.
at the time, life was in a limbo state—as it was for many others during covid. i was eager for a change of pace and scenery, feeling stuffed up, getting too complacent, and desperate to welcome some discomfort and newness.
what i’ve been met with over the past five years is beyond what i could have expected. such darling memories, amazing humans, and so much growing up. this move has taught me a lot about myself, my relationships, and the importance of putting my energy towards what matters most.
i often miss the west (best) coast and maybe someday we’ll make our way back to continue building life together.
life is funny and fun. i’m just so grateful!
