Your menu, your window and your Instagram look like three different companies.

That usually isn’t a design problem. It’s three different people who never spoke to each other.

There’s no team here, and that’s the point. One person holds the strategy, the design and the content, so there’s no handover to get lost in.

Seven years in marketing before I ever opened a design program.
Strategy first, design second.

One decision, made in three different places.

10 page Menu, 5 page Counter Top Menu & Video Animation.

Three menus, three different jobs.

No packaged files to start from either, which is far more common than it should be. The old menu came as a PDF, so all of it was rebuilt before anything new could be designed. It is why every job I finish goes back with the working files.

Aeris by Sekisui House, Melrose Park. The sixth and most premium stage of a $5 billion masterplan. 468 apartments, 35 sold in the first four hours.

I designed the wall posters in this suite. Seeing your own work in situ is a different feeling entirely, on screen it’s a file, on the wall it’s part of the room.

With seven years working on websites, the thing that still gets me is how fast people decide. 17 milliseconds, faster than a blink.

Two things settle it: how busy it looks, and whether it looks like what you’d expect.

I apply the research and the science behind every website I build 🤓

Mum brews the limoncello, so the least I could do was give it a proper label.

Custom lemon illustration, label designed from scratch, then built and rendered in Blender so I could see it on the bottle before anything went to print 🍋 by @made_bylorena

A little look at the Home Loan Survival Guide I designed for @masscapitalgroup ✨

Custom graphics, icons, graphs, typography and lots of attention to margins + spacing to make all that home loan info feel a little less overwhelming (and a lot nicer to look at).

It’s always the little design details that pull it all together 📖 by @made_bylorena
