Here's a closer look at the careful touches that give this kitchen its character.⁠
⁠
A single full-length floating shelf keeps the walls feeling open, while matte black hardware brings contrast to the natural oak. Look closely and you’ll spot the ply edge detail alongside our Solid Timber L Handles in Oak.⁠

A bespoke double-door pantry adds generous storage to the IKEA plan. Caesarstone Dreamy Carrara worktops finishes the kitchen run, with Cloudburst on the island by Bath Bespoke, beneath statement handmade ceramic pendant lighting.⁠

Beyond the kitchen, the oak detailing continues into the hallway with an incredible floating staircase made by Alex May and Joe Lumbard-Cartwright.⁠

Then of course there's little Bowie, who blends rather perfectly into the oak palette.⁠

A calm, light-filled kitchen with natural oak at its heart

This minimal space was built using IKEA cabinets as a base, adding custom plywood fronts and elements of bespoke craftsmanship to create a truly refined space.

This light-filled Somerset kitchen brings together the warmth of natural oak and the quiet simplicity of Japandi design.⁠

Working with our team through our Plan & Design pathway, our clients refined a clean, open layout built around IKEA cabinetry. Natural Oak Timber Veneer fronts give the long kitchen run its warmth, while Solid Timber L Handles in Oak add a subtle and contemporary finishing detail.⁠
