Countless hours later…. my custom designed + hand painted #acourtofsilverflames inspired skirt is finished and at home with the biggest Nesta fan I know :) I loved painting this and have a few more #acotar themed designs in mind. Who is your favorite character from the series??

This design draws on my Italian heritage from my grandmother 💙 “Protetta” is the feminine Italian word for “protected”. I feel protected having my grandmother’s spirit guiding me ✨
•••
The mano cornuto is an ancient protective symbol to protect against the malocchio, or evil eye: a manifestation of bad luck/energy. Slap that protection on anything you please with these new stickers! (3”x3”)

✨🧿✨Mano cornuto ✨🧿✨
•••
This ancient symbol predates roman times and originated as a protection against the evil eye, or malocchio, resembling a horned beast. It was more recently popularized by Black Sabbath rocker Ronnie James Dio. His Italian grandmother taught him the meaning of the symbol and he made it a stage signature at shows, not wanting to copy Ozzy’s signature double peace signs.
•
Thanks for reading my mini history lesson! This will be available on my website soon! 🧿
