Happy 1️⃣ year Anniversary to my sophomore beauty, SCORPIO 🦂🥹🎉 It’s hard to believe it’s been a whole year since I released this heartbreaking album, so much in life has changed in these 365 days. As I was writing SCORPIO, I would always say “I believe I’m creating music that will change my life,” and it undoubtedly has. Today has felt bittersweet in many ways, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have even greater aspirations for where I’d be a year out, but then my spirits left me a crow feather in my backyard and I was reminded of just how much I was able to (and continue to be able to) achieve as a completely independent artist in this insane industry. To be a Black woman running her shit in this backwards ass world is powerful and I am SO PROUD of myself!!! It’s been fucking rough road, but DAMN have I done a lot 💪🏽🥲 Above everything, it’s really thanks to each and every one of you that I keep this train moving, even on the days when I feel like pulling the breaks and breaking down. I write vulnerably bc I never want anyone else to feel alone in their feelings and it truly means the world that y’all connect with my music so deeply. Thank you for listening to SCORPIO, for sharing it with your friends, adding it to your playlists, for coming to my shows and buying merch, and most of all, thank you for believing in me — I love you forever 🥰❤️🫂Special thank yous to @vamstudioofficial & @itszachbrown who really helped me bring the SCORPIO world to life visually and sonically ♏️✨PS — new music is in the works, stay tuned 👀 by @madmcferrin
