Some journeys quietly change everything. 🥲

After years of supporting the NCCS Cancer Fund inspired by his wife’s battle with breast cancer, Maduro’s very own Mr.P faced his own diagnosis with prostate cancer in 2025.

Throughout his recovery journey, he experienced first-hand the compassion, dedication and humanity of the teams at NCCS - and with that came a deeper commitment to give back.

This initiative is close to his heart:
Supporting prostate cancer research so future patients may have greater hope, better outcomes and stronger support through their own journeys.

At Maduro, we believe community is not only built through celebration, conversation and music - but also through showing up for one another. 💖

We invite our community to support this meaningful cause with us.

Have you noticed something different in Maduro?
We recently had the pleasure of welcoming @cyril_kongo back to Maduro where a moment of artistic spontaneity happened. Inspired by friendship and camaraderie, Cyril Kongo christened Maduro with his gorgeous work of art as Mr.P improvised on piano accompaniment.

Cyril Kongo is a French visual and graffiti artist known for his vibrant, generous and eclectic work of art. He has collaborated with Hermès, Richard Mille and Chanel to name a few, and we are honoured and grateful to have his art elevating the space at Maduro.

AI will never replace music.

Music is the soul of life. It lives in the room where it’s played. You hear it in the hush before a solo and the applause that follows, shared with whoever is sitting beside you. Every Friday and Saturday, Maduro keeps that soul alive.

A glass in hand and two nights of live music ahead: this is the weekend at Maduro.

On Friday, Namie and Ann Gie bring Flow, a vocal and piano set about how one theme can run through many songs, like a stream finding its way into a river. The two have played together since 2018 in Namie and the Waves, and lately they have been exploring the jazz duo setting together.

On Saturday, the David Loke Quartet takes the room through Jazz Tunes x Classical, with David Loke, Eugene Ang, Richmond Lip and Raf Soundwalker.

16 Oct, Flow - Ann Gie and Namie
17 Oct, Jazz Tunes x Classical - David Loke Quartet

Both nights from 8.30pm till late.

Cyril Kongo has called Singapore a reference city for over six years — exhibitions at The Mill in 2019 and 2022, a solo show at Gillman Barracks in 2024. He also came here and painted these walls.

Maduro holds more of his work in one space than anywhere else in the city. The courtyard mural came first. Then a full pop-up in late 2024, which brought the canvases, the plates and the floor pieces now woven into the room. Kongo came up in the Paris graffiti scene of 1986, working in the writing tradition — stacked letters, colour pressed against colour, every layer a decision. The same hand is now commissioned by Hermès, Richard Mille and Rolls-Royce. Here, it simply belongs to the room.

JSY九十壹 formed in Kuala Lumpur in 2017 with a simple idea: jazz doesn’t have to stay in one place. Nine years on, the quintet plays standards and originals that drift between R&B, funk, Latin, and soul — sometimes within the same song.

On 25 and 26 November, they bring that to Maduro: Celist Chow on vocals, Lim Lee Peng on keys, Eddy Lim on saxophone, Ken Chung on bass, and Terrence Ling on drums.

This is a night you do not want to miss. Grab your tickets at the Eventbrite link in our bio 🎨🥃🎵 taken in Sofitel Singapore Sentosa by @maduro.sg
