Changing the air 🌪️

Finally gave birth to another brilliant piece by @sonyalindfors What a gift you are 💎
WILD IS THE WIND premiered last Tuesday with a MASSIVE premiere week at Dance House Helsinki @tanssintalo! ERRKO HALL Stage - the largest dance performance space in the Nordics, almost sold out all 5 shows, 24m high sealing, sometimes doubting that y’all could feel me all the way up in Row 17. But there we were…. changing the air. a space to let go. Breathe. take in. laugh . cry. Make noise. feel.
We felt you ! the standing ovations, the reviews. thanks for the love! I’m still collecting flowers here 🌸 it’s been a long but nourishing journey and im super grateful for this team of special individuals !

Choreography: Sonya Lindfors @sonyalindfors
Sound design and music: Jussi Matikainen and Tiikka Drama.
Lighting: Teo Lanerva.
Costume design: Sanna Levo.
Set design: Aino Koski.
Trumpet: Devina Boughton.
Dance: Akim Bakhtaoui, Elina Häyrynen, Oskari Kymäläinen, Natasha Lommi, Marlon Moilanen, Axelle Munezero, Maele Cheza Sabuni.

Less than a week to go!

@natashalommi and @maelecheza discuss the dynamic energy of a group where everyone brings their own unique taste and richness. How do you connect with one another when coming from different movement backgrounds?

Wild Is the Wind premieres next week as part of TSC’s Triple Bill at @tanssintalo. ❤️‍🔥 The evening also features Carolyn Carlson’s Room 7 and Tero Saarinen’s Garden.
The Triple Bill will also be seen at @tamperetalo on 13 October! by @maelecheza
