Norræna húsið og Reykjavík Dance Festival bjóða frítt á Living in Color / In Living Color eftir Sonyu Lindfors! Hann hefur starfað með Cullberg, komið fram á afhendingu friðarverðlauna Nóbels og skapað Bach in the Street. Hlekkur í bio --- The Nordic House and Reykjavík Dance Festival invite you to Living in Color / In Living Color by Sonya Lindfors, free of charge! Sonya Lindfors, Maele Cheza Sabuni and Benson A’Kuyie summon ghosts, open portals to other realities and explore possible futures. Past works meet new experiments in the first instalment of Black & Blue. Sonya Lindfors is a Cameroonian-Finnish choreographer and founder of UrbanApa. Her work explores Blackness, representation and power. Maele Cheza Sabuni is an award-winning street dancer, choreographer and DJ with over 15 years of international experience, including Cullberg, the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony and his work Bach in the Street. Benson A’Kuyie is a dancer, singer and performer working with Krump and Afrofuturism, exploring how Krump culture can be free from queerphobia and discrimination against disabled people. 15 November, 15:30 | Nordic House FREE – booking required! Limited seating. Link in bio. Photo 1: Virve Laustela / The Finnish Museum of Photography Photo 2: Tuukka Ervasti Both from Living in Color / In Living Color (Black & Blue series) by Sonya Lindfors.

A conversation with @culoedesong One of the artists who shaped the way I listen to electronic music, and a sound I’ve always deeply connected with. Ten minutes of honest thoughts, music, life, identity and everything in between. No script. Just a real conversation.
