Behold! A complete Dragon Rider Romantasy Trilogy!

But one where she falls for the widowed dad 😏

✨️Perfect for lovers of Fourth Wing and Mariana Zapata! Between Flames and Deceit is a forbidden love, age gap romance.✨️

She wasn’t allowed to fall in love.

Least of all with the father of her betrothed.

When Nienna, the Dragon’s Heart, sails to Radaan, she knows she’s bound for a marriage to a prince she’s never met. No stranger to duty, she welcomes the alliance as any princess should.

But the prince is not what she expected.

Kallias, king of Radaan, has spent a lifetime fighting. A treaty ends the war between Radaan and Vellos, but it hinges upon the marriage of his son. If their betrothal ends, the tentative peace will crumble. Yet Nienna is more than he expected. Forged of fire and steel, her responsibility to kingdom mirrors his own.

Nienna needs to feed her people. Kallias needs her dragons.

Promises were made. But when duty conflicts with her heart will Nienna be strong enough to resist?

Kallias signed a blood oath. Bound by honor and the threat of dragonfire will he be able to stand by and watch her marry someone else?

Embark on a journey of two lost souls finding love in the wrong place at the wrong time. Between Flames and deceit is an age gap romance where the princess falls for the widowed dad. Lingering looks fester with angst, lines are crossed, and mistakes are made. Buckle up, this is a wild ride. by @mafrick.author

🚫I stand against GenAI.🚫

I stand with human writers. Human editors. Human artists. I write my books with intent and emotion.

If there was ever a post to be pinned to the top of my page it would be this one.

GenAI has no place in the creative space. If it's the future, it's not one I want to be part of.

THE RESTRAINT I HAVE HAD!

You guys don't even know. I probably grew 3 new gray hairs holding onto this art!

We now have a REVERSIBLE dust jacket for Isle of Dragon Bones! This art was done by the amazing @josie.boyer.art and while it was my most expensive commission... I seriously have ZERO regrets.

Josie was amazing from start to finish and even took the time to REALLY give attention to that ✨️chest hair✨️😏

And just a reminder the wallpaper is a digital stretch goal for EVERY BACKER!

YOU GUYS DON'T UNDERSTAND! 🤯

When I was writing Isle of Dragon Bones, I was cracking myself up.

✨️Because I think I am hilarious✨️

But then I thought to myself "I want to hear this." And I NEVER do that. So, unbeknownst to you all, I started sluething. Sneaking around. Getting auditions. Planning a nice little treat for myself. 😈

But I'll share 😏 WITH EVERYONE! Because when @elisabeth.narrates and @finnley.narrates brought Kelpie and Ardenn to life, there was no keeping that magic to myself! 🐈‍⬛️

Which means EVERY BACKER now gets the audiobook of Isle of Dragon Bones. So... GO BACK IT FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE!

My goal is to sell as many of those little bracelets as possible.😏

I want to show my niece what can happen if you put your mind to it!💪

✨️Insider Peek✨️
She is actually one of my packers too! She helped pack the Between Love and Ruin Kickstarter and the Between Gods and Dragons Kickstarter.

While I'm the first entrepreneur of my house, she's watching. Currently a college student that can use any help she can get, she came to me with this idea and I said I would absolutely put them on my Kickstarter for my readers.

📚Now it's time to show her how supportive the reading community is 💪

Current # ordered: 125 let's see how high we can get it!

I HAVE BEEN SITTING ON THIS ART!

Ok so those last 2 pics are overlays that will be in the book! They'll be bound in, I just didn't have them at the time I placed the order for my sample of Isle of Dragon Bones.

And the new art (if you swipe to the end) is by the talented @emmabovel and let's just say I AM OBSESSED.

Cast your vote. Do you think we'll hit the realistic goal or the delulu goal?!
