Never thought I’d be a wife, let alone such a happy one. For real though, I was pretty set against the idea for most of my life.

But sometimes life takes us by surprise…
brings new people and practices into your orbit..
all of a sudden, mindsets shift and new ideas of a new way come to stay…
and grow…
and bloom.

May we all remain open to change. May we make the best of what we have and believe that greater things are on the other side of our comfort zones.

And may we never lose connection to that which is most precious. For me, that’s this amazing planetary home that nourishes us — and conscious existence itself ✨🤲🏽✨

A highlight of our time in #türkiye was road tripping to a smaller town along the coast of the Black Sea, where we could stroll leisurely everywhere: to lunch, to buy fresh produce, visit the museum, hike to a lookout point, enjoy some hookah, and dip in the cool waters that so many have sailed over the centuries.

What a gift to soak up a few sunrises and sunsets in this gem of a cove.

Doing my best to cultivate and condense such peace in the microcosm to fuel persistence and positive impact in the macro.

This week, I’ve hiked/scouted 8 miles with a cold, cleaned and pressed 85lbs on a landmine, biked with my 100lb dog, survived a 1.5day migraine (1st pic), worked alongside statewide nonprofit affordable housing partners & an awesome capstone student who chose my housing preservation project, and shot a bullseye and a quick follow up at 300 yards with a 300 win mag.

Ready for hunting season with my rock @mdkinno 🙏🏽😘

#TeamBronco_Ambassador | When the girls trip finally makes it out of the group chat… It’s been two years in the making and it only took one of us moving away to finally get it on the calendar.

Unfortunately, we committed to a crappy weather weekend. It had been a hot summer already and this just happened to be when the thunderstorms rolled in, wildfires broke out, and smoke filled the air… but that didn’t stop us… nor did the consistent 30mph winds with 60mph gusts, but that did pivot us from our original backpacking plans.

Since I first came out to Colorado, we had been saying we should do a girls backpacking trip.

Well, we tried.

The winds were so strong that it tore up one of my older tents (& it wasn’t even the ultralight tent), and then the wildfire smoke turned the sky orange… and that’s when we bailed and hiked back down.

Having the Bronco Sport® and rooftop tent though, it worked well for sleeping four girls in/on the vehicle.

While this trips came at the worst possible time w the fires, winds and storms, it also couldn’t have come at a better time. We all needed this trip for one reason or another, whether it’s work, fam, relationships or just personal reasons. And overall, it made for a great bonding experience and the most memorable trip in every way.💞

So… are we having fun yet?😅
