Almost every day I’m reminded of my favorite prayer to pray. “If it’s not for me, Lord, don’t let it be!” 🙏🏼 I wrote about this in my 100 days of praise and positivity devotional a few years ago but it has been SO top of mind this week as a Realtor while we negotiated offers for two different families. 🔑 The peace of knowing and trusting and believing that if something doesn’t work out, God just has another plan. 🎉🙏🏼 This morning my Bible app devotional was SO spot on and I LOVED the interpretation of Exodus 33:15 that’s basically… “Lord, don’t send me if you aren’t coming with me” 🙅🏼‍♀️ AMEN to that! This house was awesome and so was the neighborhood! My clients had a peek at this one’s open house and liked what they saw. We had a full day of showings lined up the following weekend and THIS was the one to beat! 🤩🏡 We looked at some gorgeous brand new builds but in this season of life, they decided they didn’t want to be living in a construction zone during naptime. 🔨 SO valid! They decided that even though this one needed some fresh paint and flooring, it suited their lifestyle so much better. We brought a strong offer, even though it was contingent on them selling their Graham house and after a bit of negotiating, we went under contract. 🔑 We quickly found a buyer for their first home and were even able to move up closing by three weeks! 🤩🎉 The sellers agent (shoutout Kevin Crossan) was a pleasure to work with and even when we hit bumps in the road, we were collaborative, calm and kept both of our clients moving towards the shared goal of making this their Happy New Home!! I LOVED celebrating with my sellers this week! Thank goodness I get to see these two at church or else I’d be having withdrawals already! 🙏🏼🎉 Especially bc Tyler says he would highly recommend me to anyone he knows but he’s never moving again! 😂📦🤷🏼‍♀️ I absolutely LOVE getting to come alongside old and new friends to make their happy house dreams come true! 🏡💖 When we first met about the possibility of selling their first home, we knew it would have to be a serious upgrade for them to leave their little slice of paradise. And within less than a week, we found THE ONE! 🤩 They worked SO hard getting their house ready to sell. Meredith staged it beautifully, we completed a pre-listing inspection, and Tyler knocked out a bunch of items ahead of time to give future buyers peace of mind! We had more than a dozen showings, multiple offers in less than 2 weeks and yesterday they were SO excited to pass the keys on to the next owners. 🥹🔑🙏🏼 That was the easy part! 😂 Buying and selling at the same time can come with a LOT of moving pieces, and this one definitely kept us on our toes!
