La Mari. @marinaolamari

My favourite model, amidst sand, sun and salt.

After getting an old Canon AE-1 from the 80s, I had quite a job repairing it and sealing off all the light leaks. This was the first roll of film where the images came out clear. I used a roll of One Hundred 100 film and the patience of @marinaolamari

Rocamundo. Part 2 – The group is the legacy it inherits and the people who shape it.

“Up in the mountains, people still talk about those young ones who are still learning to master the elements, to read nature, to live in the present...”

Padre, lo del eclipse. 12/8/26

From a 13th-century Romanesque church, with the Castilian farmland stretching out to the west.
Back home at last, I was able to edit the few photos I’d taken so that I could enjoy the eclipse to the full and truly savour the moment that ended up moving us so deeply.

Rocamundo Part 1 – The Importance of Rest:

“Like a spider’s web of dreams, hidden amongst the shelter of the shadows and the old branches of the poplars, they could be seen resting, recounting past adventures and planning future raids.”

This is the first batch of photographs I took in July at the S.G. Polar Star camp in Rocamundo, Cantabria. by @maherandphotos

Helen, Part 1. (@helenamuse7 )

My friend says she doesn’t look good in photographs, that the camera gives her a distorted and unsatisfactory image of her own reflection. What Helen doesn’t realise is that the rest of us see her as radiant and full of flamenco spirit, with real presence in front of the camera; many of us would love for the image we see of ourselves to resemble hers just a little.

"Back when it was cold."

After adding the Canon AE-1 to my gear, a new DJI drone came along with it, which I'm using to test outdoor lighting setups. But that night it was just too cold to get creative. Are we a band? Are we family? Are we friends? Maybe we are everything at once, who knows...

Another year passes, another year begins.
A cycle of light and shadow, of color and darkness.
We await a new year, bringing fresh light and new hues for those of us still journeying on—to see, to feel, and to enjoy.

With special dedication to Pol and Ignacio.♥️✨
