Grateful for another trip around the sun, and the view is pretty great:
⭐️Son is in college, driving, working, & thriving.
⭐️Beagle is healthy & naughty. 🐾
⭐️5 incredible years with my partner. ❤️
⭐️A friend group like family.

Thank you to the International Chinatown Conference for prioritizing democracy and the future of our province. It was an honour to join a panel alongside former Calgary City Councillor Terry Wong, constitutional lawyer and expert Pat Paradis, and Matt Solberg of New West Public Affairs, moderated by Harrison Fleming, Chief of Staff to Mayor Jeromy Farkas.

Appreciate the invitation @sandyponyeg

Over $114,000 raised—and the fight is just getting started.
Saddle Lake Cree Nation made history at Fort Pitt by asserting full sovereignty over their own healthcare.

The First Nation is directly laying the groundwork to provide accessible, community-led, gender-affirming care—a vital step that will save lives.

Saddle Lake Cree First Nation has launched a GoFundMe fundraiser dedicated to the legal, governance and implementation work necessary to advance and defend Saddle Lake Cree Nation’s Treaty health jurisdiction.

Who said campaigns can’t be fun?
We spent the week laughing our way through set—and we’re just getting started. 🎬

We are thrilled to partner with amazing talent to bringing a lighter take to what connects us all.

First one drops soon. Keep your eyes peeled! 👀🍁

A little bit of snippets of the Leadership, our tastawiyiniwak, and Allies making history by saying “no more” to colonial violence. This is what it looks like to dust off over 500 years of misogyny, patriarchy, homophobia, transphobia and return to our original teachings of sahkitowin (love ❤️), kisewatisiwin (kindness), and inclusivity. 40 years of storytelling, integrity, and legendary broadcasting. 🎙️👏

Celebrating an absolute giant in the industry this weekend. Galen, we shared the newsroom, but more importantly, journalism brought us all together as lifelong friends—and truly family.

To have shared space with you in this biz was an honour; to call you family is a blessing. Congratulations on an extraordinary four decades! 🥂✨
